The early Signing Day for Class of 2022 football prospects is Wednesday and, with the minutes and hours counting down before high school seniors can make their college destinations official, we wanted to take a quick look at some of the top prospects in Missouri who have yet to make their decision – or at least haven’t announced it publicly.
Two of the top three and three of the top six prospects in the preseason Missouri 2022 rankings remain uncommitted the day before the early Signing Day: St. Mary’s wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id="37523" first="Kevin" last="Coleman"], Boonville linebacker/defensive end [player_tooltip player_id="96233" first="DJ" last="Wesolak"] and North Kansas City defensive tackle [player_tooltip player_id="37534" first="Domonique" last="Orange"].
Edit: Shortly after publishing this article, Orange announced his commitment to Iowa State.
Three more prospects in the preseason Top 25 have yet to announce a decision: Pembroke Hill wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id="96170" first="Quinton" last="Conley"], Raytown running back [player_tooltip player_id="96148" first="Zahmari" last="Gary"] and Glendale outside linebacker/defensive [player_tooltip player_id="96230" first="Cooper" last="Roy"].
If you look at the Top 50 prospects, there are an additional eight seniors who have yet to make a decision.
Here is a quick look at some of these top prospects and where they might end up...
No. 1 WR [player_tooltip player_id="37523" first="Kevin" last="Coleman"] St. Mary’s
The Gatorade Missouri Player of the Year and a state champion, Coleman’s recruitment has been interesting to watch for a while but has heated up in recent days after the coaching carousel impacted two of the schools he took official visits to.
Coleman took an official visit to Florida State in September and then took official visits to Oregon and USC in November. This past weekend, the playmaking wide receiver took an official visit to the University of Miami — where former Oregon coach Mario Cristobal has now taken over — and recruiting experts now think Coleman will decide between rivals Florida State and Miami.
Coleman hasn’t said when he plans to make a decision or an announcement, so it could be a few weeks until we know where he will be taking his difference-making talent.

No. 3 LB/DE [player_tooltip player_id="96233" first="DJ" last="Wesolak"] Boonville
Wesolak announced on Twitter on Monday that he will be making his announcement at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Knights of Columbus in Boonville.
The quick and strong edge rusher announced on December 7 that he had been re-offered by the new coaching staff at LSU and then took an official visit to Baton Rouge to check out the program and new head coach Brian Kelly this past weekend.
Wesolak took visits to Florida and USC this summer, two schools that have since had coaching changes, and was being recruited to Georgia by defensive coordinator Dan Lanning, who was just hired as Oregon’s new head coach after Cristobal left.
Wesolak’s announcement of his forthcoming announcement would indicate that he is likely headed to LSU, but he’s also been to Missouri recently and included the Tigers in his recent top eight schools along with Alabama, USC, LSU, Georgia, Oregon, North Carolina and Penn State.

No. 6 DT [player_tooltip player_id="37534" first="Domonique" last="Orange"] North Kansas City
Back on November 12, Orange announced his final four schools — Texas A&M, Oregon, Ohio State and Iowa State — on Twitter and wrote to stay tuned for a commitment date. He has yet to announce a commitment date (or his decision) and hasn’t tweeted since. (Edit: Orange announced his commitment to Iowa State soon after this article was published.)

No. 13 WR [player_tooltip player_id="96170" first="Quinton" last="Conley"] Pembroke Hill
Conley tweeted in November that his recruitment was still open. He has reported offers from Arizona State, Iowa State, Kansas, Kentucky and Nebraska, according to 247Sports, but hasn’t reported any new offers in a while.
Conley projects as a wide receiver or, with added weight, a pass-catching tight end at the next level but played quarterback for his high school team this season. Conley and uncommitted teammate [player_tooltip player_id="172296" first="Miles" last="Marshall"], a talented Division I tight end prospect, will be two of the top Missouri prospects to watch leading up to the next Signing Day in February.

No. 23 RB [player_tooltip player_id="96148" first="Zahmari" last="Gary"] Raytown
Gary announced an "opportunity" from the University of Missouri on Twitter on June 23 but hasn’t announced any offers before or since. He’s listed as 5-7 and 180 pounds, so it could be that his lack of height is a concern for programs. His production at the high school level certainly isn’t an issue as he racked up roughly 4,000 total yards and 50 touchdowns over his final two seasons at Raytown.

No. 25 OLB/DE [player_tooltip player_id="96230" first="Cooper" last="Roy"] Glendale
The Springfield Sack Master — or should we call him the Show-Me State Sack Master — has proven he can get after the quarterback the past two years, racking up 51 sacks during his junior and senior seasons. Roy told Prep Redzone he won’t sign on Wednesday but is considering Air Force, Army and Missouri State right now.
