Signing Day is here and it’s time for some of the state’s top prospects to narrow down their recruitment and make a final decision on where they’ll play at the collegiate level. It was a wild week of flips, decommitments, and verbal pledges as they plan to sign on December 15th.
Here are some top prospects who made some big announcements on their recruitment this week...

One of the top senior QBs in the state, Dallas was fantastic as a senior this past season, leading the Lions all the way to the Single A Private state championship. A true playmaker at 6-foot-0 190-pounds, Dallas threw for just under 4,000 yards this fall with 49 touchdown passes. He also rushed for 350 yards and 7 more scores in the state-championship season. Dallas committed to Western Michigan in late June but flipped his commitment this week to Georgia Southern, staying in the peach state at the next level.

One of the top two-way players in the state, Hardy is an excellent athlete and a true playmaker for the Spartans in every aspect of the game. Hardy has great size at 6-foot-2 190-pounds and has been a tackling machine so far at safety. He’s fast, instinctive, and technically sound in both run support and in coverage in the back end. He covers a lot of ground with the ball in the air and has intercepted a handful passes this year as a senior. Hardy has been verbally committed to Virginia since April, but after an offer from North Carolina in early December, Hardy decided to make a chance and flip his commitment to the Tar Heels.

[player_tooltip player_id="220709" first="Savion" last="Riley"] - WR - Kennesaw Mountain
One of the top playmakers in Cobb County, Riley is a sure-handed receiver and one of the region’s best in 1-on-1 situations. He changes directions on a dime and has a big frame at 6-foot-2 200-pounds. He has good speed, but he’s big and strong enough to break tackles from smaller defensive backs. Riley has the vision of a running back and is excellent in the screen game. He snatches the ball well out of the air and has great burst to get up the field. He high-points the football well and can make a tough grab even when a defender is in great coverage. After committing to Duke back in early July, Riley flipped his commitment this week to Vanderbilt.

[player_tooltip player_id="220719" first="Ethan" last="Davis"] - TE - Collins Hill
One of the breakout juniors in Gwinnett County, Davis saw his stock rise more and more as the season went along with star receiver [player_tooltip player_id="33861" first="Travis" last="Hunter"] out. Davis has been able to see more balls come his way as a result and he’s taken advantage of it in a big way. Davis is a lean athlete at 6-foot-5, and even though he’s not a senior, Davis decided to make his college decision, committing to Tennessee. He has big hands and due to his size, he can be a giant mismatch on defenders in the middle of the field. He’s great after the catch, and even though he sustained an injury at the end of the season, Davis was a big-time playmaker for the 7A state champion Eagles this fall.
