They always have a ton of athletes in attendance, and among the large group of athletes are always some of the best OL and DL prospects from the surrounding states. Today, I want to take a look at some of the athletes signed up that I can’t wait to see in person. For each athlete I will give a quick breakdown of what I’m hoping to see from them on the field. Let’s get it started!
Hayden DeZarn, ’23 OL- Beaver Dam
The main reason that I can’t wait to get my eyes on Hayden is because he doesn’t have a ton of film posted to go off of. From the few clips, it seems like Hayden is an effective puller and has the strength and nasty mentality that allows him to finish his defender to the ground. His 6’3″ 265 lbs frame is also very intriguing. I can’t wait to see how well he moves in the drills and the one on one pass pro battles. I want to see his body control as well as his overall flexibility in his knees and ankles. A good showing tomorrow could springboard Hayden’s recruitment as he enters the offseason before his senior season. Potential name to keep an eye on. Hayden’s Highlight Page
Jackson Kitzmiller, ’25 DL- Edgewood
I will be on the lookout for the freshman out of Madison Edgewood tomorrow. The 5’10″ 230 lbs DL had a great season on varsity as a freshman, and he has continued that impressive performance right into his offseason where he posted a 295 lbs bench PR and 455 lbs deadlift PR. I’m very excited about Jackson’s development over the next few years. Tomorrow I’m excited to see how well Kitzmiller tests athletically. He plays with a suddenness and quick twitch to his game, so I’m interested in his short area agility testing. I also can’t wait to see how he handles himself in the battle portion. I want to see how well he hangs with the older, more experienced athletes. I’m pumped to watch the young stud do his thing tomorrow! Jackson’s Freshman Highlights
Xavier Serrano, ’22 OL- Greenfield
The 6’2″ 280 lbs OL is one of the uncommitted seniors that will be in attendance tomorrow. Not only is Xavier uncommitted, he is also under recruited. The big man currently holds one offer from Concordia University Wisconsin. I can’t wait to watch him tomorrow because I believe he will turn a few more heads among the scouts and coaches that are going to be in attendance and watching via the live link. On film, Xavier shows very heavy hands that deliver big shots to DL on initial contact. I want to see that translate to the one on one battles tomorrow. I also want to see how well he moves laterally in the battles. Definitely a name to follow tomorrow. Xavier’s Senior Highlights
Stanley Ridley, ’24 OL- Greenfield
A big reason why I want to watch Stanley tomorrow I to see where he is at in his development. The 6’1″ 260 lbs athlete is just a sophomore, so he has a lot of time ahead of him to continue growing and developing, but I’m interested to see what his current skill set is. I’m also interested in seeing how he is put together. It looks like it is a pretty clean 260 lbs, so the potential to continue growing to the size needed for the next level should be there. Lastly, I’m always intrigued to watch the younger athlete battle against older kids. If the young fella can come out and handle himself then we know he is well on his way towards becoming a solid prospect. Check out his film while we wait for tomorrow! Stanley’s Sophomore Highlights
Patrick Keelty, ’23 OL- Fort Atkinson
The 6’2″ 295 lbs lineman is a new name to me, so I’m excited to see what he has to offer. On tape he looks like a lineman who moves pretty well and has solid body control. His strength looks to be in the run game where he uses heavy hands and his strength to maul defensive linemen. Because he is new to me, I’m pumped to watch him as much as I can tomorrow so I can see what type of player he is so we can get him in the 2023 rankings. I hope to write about Patrick as one of the standouts when this event is all said and done. Patrick’s Junior Highlights
Logan Gross Logan Gross 6'3" | 270 lbs | OL Sun Prairie | 2024 State WI , ’24 OL- Sun Prairie
The 6’3″ 250 lbs sophomore OT is just starting to come into his own. His frame is ready to continue adding size. Gross is already an impressive looking prospect, and the reason I have him in this article is because I’m expecting him to come out and have a great day tomorrow at The Line Showcase. Logan moves quick and smooth forwards, backwards, and laterally while also having the strength to be able to move DL in the run game, and set his anchor in pass pro. The tools are all there for Logan to continue showing he can be one of the top linemen in his recruiting class here in WI. I can’t wait to watch what he does tomorrow against very good competition. Logan’s Sophomore Highlights
Tristan Mick, ’23 DL- Muskego
I’m hyped to watch the 6’3″ 250 lbs DL out of Muskego High School. The junior was 1/3 of a dominant three man front that consistently shut down rushing attacks and got after the QB. Tristan has next level length, and room on his frame to continue adding even more size and strength to his game. Based off the film, Mick has strong lateral agility that I believe will show up in the testing portion during tomorrow’s showcase, and during the one on one battles where he can really flash his talents in a game-like setting. I believe that Tristan is going to be one of the top athletes representing WI at the showcase, and I can’t wait to see what he does. Tristan’s Junior Highlights
Terrell Thomas, ’23 DL- Arrowhead
I have high expectations for the 6’3″ 270 lbs junior tomorrow down in St. Charles. He has exceptional length and has the frame that can play inside or outside. His high motor and hand fighting skills should shine throughout the entirety of the showcase. I’m very interested to see what his body control and lower body flexibility looks like in the positional drill portion of the day also. His initial get off and first step explosiveness will also be something I have my eyes on. I believe Thomas is going to turn heads tomorrow as he begins to grab recruiting attention. Watch out for a big day from the Arrowhead product. Terrell’s Junior Highlights
