Missouri 2022 Rankings Update: Stock Risers

The Prep Redzone Missouri Class of 2022 football prospect rankings have been updated and there is plenty of movement with prospects in the rankings. Today we are taking a look at some of the prospects who moved up the list. <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: 18pt;"><em><strong><a href="https://prepredzone.com/missouri/rankings/2022-rankings/">Click here to view the updated 2022 Rankings!</a></strong></em></span></p> The top spot remains the same. Electric St. Mary's wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id="37523" first="Kevin" last="Coleman"] was elevated to the No. 1 spot in the Class of 2022 rankings before the start of the season and Coleman backed up that lofty status by leading the Dragons to the Missouri Class 3 championship. The 5-foot-11, 170-pounder accounted for more than 2,000 all-purpose yards and 31 touchdowns, including six on returns. Here is a quick look at some of the biggest stock risers in the newly updated rankings: <strong>LB/DE [player_tooltip player_id="96233" first="DJ" last="Wesolak"] Boonville (Missouri)</strong> Wesolak has gone from No. 4 to No. 3 to No. 2 in the past three rankings updates for Missouri's Class of 2022. So he's not exactly a stock riser as much as he's just a really good football player with a chance to be special. Wesolak missed time on the field this season because of an off-the-field issue that has since been resolved and he signed with the University of Missouri earlier this month after attracting scholarship offers from top college football programs from coast to coast. Previously listed as a defensive lineman, we are now calling Wesolak a linebacker. But he's an elite edge rusher as either an outside linebacker or defensive end. <strong>RB [player_tooltip player_id="37528" first="Arlen" last="Harris Jr"] Lutheran-St. Charles (Stanford)</strong> It was a special senior season for Harris, who led the Cougars to their first state championship. The standout running back did so while playing for his father, LSC head coach Arlen Harris, a former NFL running back, and with his younger brother Ayden, a standout linebacker-running back in the Class of 2024. Harris capped off his record-setting four-year varsity career by racking up 1,969 total yards and 39 touchdowns. He moved up from seventh to No. 3 in the updated rankings. <strong>WR [player_tooltip player_id="96818" first="Mudia" last="Reuben"] Park Hill South (Stanford)</strong> In just his second year of playing football, Reuben, a 6-3, 190-pounder, showed his incredible talent and future with a senior season where he racked up more than 1,000 receiving yards and scored 14 touchdowns. Reuben, who jumped from No. 12 in the Class of 2022 preseason rankings to No. 6 in the updated rankings, was honored with the Otis Taylor Award as the best WR/TE in the Kansas City metro area, making him the best of a talented group of wide receivers this year. Reuben has signed with Stanford, where he'll be teammates with [player_tooltip player_id="37528" first="Arlen" last="Harris Jr"], and is expected to enroll early there. <strong>DB [player_tooltip player_id="37535" first="Cameron" last="Epps"] Chaminade (Oklahoma State)</strong> Epps, who moves up from No. 11 to No. 8, had a remarkable senior season for the Red Devils, even though it wasn't playing the position he will end up playing at Oklahoma State. The 6-3, 205-pounder was expected to play wide receiver and defensive back this fall, after playing quarterback a year ago, but Epps once again found himself playing more quarterback than Chaminade had expected. It was there that he showed off his exceptional package of size, speed and athleticism in racking up 2,451 total yards (1,852 rushing, 427 passing and 172 receiving) and accounting for 36 touchdowns (28 rushing, five passing, two receiving, one on a return). Defensively, Epps recorded 49 tackles and one sack. <strong>OL [player_tooltip player_id="99439" first="Armand" last="Membou"] Lee's Summit North (Missouri)</strong> Membou made a pretty good jump among the Top 20 prospects, going from No. 16 up to ninth overall and leaping past future Missouri teammate [player_tooltip player_id="96198" first="Tristan" last="Wilson"] as the No. 1 offensive lineman in the class. The 305-pounder played right tackle for the Broncos opposite big-time Class of 2023 prospect [player_tooltip player_id="37658" first="Cayden" last="Green"], who manned the left tackle spot. Those two were dominant performers this season as Lee's Summit North advanced to the state semifinals. The Broncos' offense was able to pound opponents in the run game and, when they needed to, would give talented quarterback [player_tooltip player_id="171825" first="Tre" last="Baker"] more than enough time to find his targets in the passing game. <strong>OL [player_tooltip player_id="96197" first="Michael" last="Capria"] Liberty (KC) (Kansas State)</strong> Capria, a 6-3, 285-pounder, made a big leap from No. 59 overall to No. 21 after a senior season that saw him earn first-team all-state honors, be selected for the All-Simone Team as one of the best in the Kansas City area and commit to continue his career at Kansas State. <strong>TE [player_tooltip player_id="172619" first="Jack" last="Bjorn"] Park Hill South</strong> A 6-7, 245-pounder, Bjorn made the decision to play football for the first time and it has paid off as he's become one of the hottest prospects in Missouri — as well as one of the biggest stock risers in our updated Class of 2022 rankings. He now has opportunities to continue his career at Kansas State, Toledo, Kansas, Iowa State and Missouri, with more opportunities to come before Signing Day in February. The big tight end made a big jump from No. 172 in the preseason rankings to No. 22 in the updated post-season rankings. Bjorn could end up playing tight end, defensive end or offensive tackle in college with his size and room to grow. &nbsp;
