The competition between QB4 - QB10 is incredibly tight. We have multiple record breakers, big-time performers, offseason heroes, and more on this list. I cannot stress just how tight the QB race is from #4 - #10, and I can't wait to see what all of these guys can do this offseason and in the 2022 season. So now, let's dive into the #4 - #10 ranked QB's in the C/O 2024!
<strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">#4 [player_tooltip player_id="251234" first="Cooper" last="Nye"] (#40 overall)</span></strong>
Here’s a guy that I have seen very little about in the press, but his numbers speak for themselves. Nye passed for 1300 yards and 16 touchdowns while only throwing 3 interceptions. Even more impressive, Nye now holds the single-season record for passing yards and passing touchdowns for Airport High School. He was a consistent, smart quarterback all season who did not force the ball into trouble and threw great reliable balls on all parts of the field.

<strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">#5 [player_tooltip player_id="206516" first="Preston" last="Crum"] (#55 overall)</span></strong>
Crum is an excellent QB that has lots of potential to get even better in 2022. Crum has a rocket arm and has been working on his craft for quite a long time. Even more impressively, Crum got an invite to the Rising Starts camp and was chosen as a top QB. His fundamentals and footwork are amazing and he's able to throw the football into some very tight windows.

<strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">#6 [player_tooltip player_id="188030" first="Connor" last="Wolf"] (#56 overall)</span></strong>
Wolf is a big up-and-comer who's on a team that just won a state championship, and is going to be a heavy favorite to win yet another. Wolf's ranking is unique as he didn't start on varsity, but he's competed at a very high level elsewhere. He's also being coached extremely well, and he's got excellent footwork and knows how to read coverage pre-snap.

<strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">#7 [player_tooltip player_id="241629" first="Casey" last="Joppie"] (#59 overall)</span></strong>
Joppie is another one of those guys that's been competing at a high level for a while, had a great season, and continues to compete in the offseason. In fact, QB Hit List has Joppie listed as the #2 pro-style QB in Michigan. It's no secret that Joppie is immensely talented, and I can't wait to watch him get it done in person at East Kentwood.

<strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">#8 [player_tooltip player_id="251325" first="Jacob" last="Tuttle"] (#68 overall)</span></strong>
The Notre Dame Prep QB threw for over 1100 yards with 19 touchdowns. Tuttle is a great athlete and can throw some amazing balls when he's in the zone. When he's turned on, there's no stopping him as he can make any throw you want at any part of the field. On the other hand, he has shown minor inconsistencies with a notably poor performance against Marine City. Nevertheless, he's very deserving of the #8 spot being ranked 68th overall.
<strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">#9 [player_tooltip player_id="207193" first="Alek" last="Wickstrom"] (#77 overall)</span></strong>
Another Grand Rapids guy, Wickstrom has shown incredible promise as QB1 for Grand Rapids Christian, coming up with some huge plays in clutch situations. Wickstrom has amazing stats with just over 1600 yards and 15 touchdowns. Next season, I fully expect Wickstrom to make improvements to the already amazing 2021 season, and he'll be a name that could shoot up the rankings to as high as #4.
<strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">#10 [player_tooltip player_id="249012" first="Reqez" last="Nance"] (#84 overall)</span></strong>
Nance played well for West Bloomfield in the extremely tough OAA Red. He's a lethal dual-threat QB that acquired lots of experience in big-time situations throughout the season, and if he follows the path of many other West Bloomfield athletes, he'll likely rise in the ranks and receive many offers along the way. He's good in just about every aspect but has yet to reach the heights of what I would call Elite.
