Big Walnut
Garrett Stover FS (2024) – He is an absolute stud and does a lot of things well. He can stay on top of the coverage and uses his hips well to cover the deep routes. Plays through the hands and times the jumps well. He is a force in the run game and reads plays well. At FS he is unblockable and gets downhill fast and makes plays. He has a couple of more off seasons to develop and he will be a next level player.
Jake Nier QB (2024) – Jake is only a sophomore and is part of a 2024 dynamic offensive duo for Big Walnut. He is going to be a stud in Central Ohio and command a lot of attention. Strong armed and athletic. Can make a variety of throws deep and intermediate. He throws with timing and has a quick release. He makes plays with his legs and can score when he pulls the ball down and runs. Keep a serious eye on him all year long.
St. Francis DeSales
Max Shulaw LB (2024) – Max is a rising star in Central Ohio. He is technically sound, aggressive, and a good tackler. He reads plays well and takes his gaps properly maintaining good leverage. He lockouts with authority and sheds easily. He is a great blitzer who makes plays and wreaks havoc. Made a game winning play last night.
