Our 2024 Rankings are live, and that means a brand new set of 219 players from all across the state are in the system. With that, there are 5 athletes who earned the #1 spot in their respective positions. Here, we highlight those guys. Enjoy!
QB1 - [player_tooltip player_id="77217" first="C.J." last="Carr"] (#1 overall)
[player_tooltip player_id="77217" first="C.J." last="Carr"] is our #1 class of 2024 quarterback, and the #1 class of 2024 prospect in the state. Carr has offers from practically every great B1G 10 school and obviously has incredibly close family ties to the University of Michigan. He’s elite. Carr can sling it with unbelievable throw power and accuracy, and generally does everything you would expect in a top-tier QB prospect. Congratulations to Carr for being the #1 prospect!

RB1 - [player_tooltip player_id="241282" first="Jake" last="Price"] (#18 overall)
Not going to lie, this was a hard choice. Though Price is an elusive back, through and through. The athleticism is off the charts, and Price represents an incredible Muskegon program and comes in as the highest-ranked player from the West Side of the state. Price’s ceiling is high as he’s being coached great, putting in immense offseason work, and is genetically gifted. Don’t get me wrong though, Price has earned the #1 spot and will undoubtedly have a sensational 2022 behind perhaps the best offensive line on the West Side.
WR1 - [player_tooltip player_id="190093" first="Nick" last="Marsh"] (#3 overall)
#GETMARSHED is almost emerging into a brand, and if Marsh keeps improving, oh boy. We could possibly have one of the best Michigan receiver prospects on our hands. Standing at an insane 6’3" 195lbs, Marsh is a freak of nature that is a jack-of-all-trades at the receiver position. His height and size allow him to outmuscle defenders, making amazing physical catches. Marsh’s speed and change of direction allow him to run great routes and be a monster after the catch. I am immensely excited to see what Marsh is able to do in 2022 and beyond!

TE1 - [player_tooltip player_id="188007" first="Dylan" last="Mesman"] (#24 overall)
Mesman is a lethal huge-body target for Carr and Saline. Standing at 6’6"220lbs, Mesman is the most pro-style tight end on the board. He can run routes and go get some tough balls, and he’s able to block quite well. The future is bright for this young buck as he has an offer from Eastern Michigan, but I imagine will get some more division 1 offers any day now.
OL1 - [player_tooltip player_id="188021" first="Nathaniel" last="Johnson"] (#10 overall)
I can’t even tell you how many Belleville athletes are on this list. Dozens? [player_tooltip player_id="188021" first="Nathaniel" last="Johnson"] is one of many big, mean, talented tigers that will have the opportunity to play at a power-5 program. Standing at 6’5" 305lbs, Johnson is a huge body that already has NFL-type size. With his talent, along with offers, size, coaching, etc, Johnson is our #1 lineman with perhaps the highest ceiling.
