| 5’8 165 | City
Offers: Jackson State University, Arkansas Pine-Bluff, Alabama A&M.
Thornton is a player who was on our "5 2022 Potential Breakout Players" list and he absolutely exploded as a top athlete in the area. He’s very fast, elusive and possesses impressive acceleration. He was a threat in all phases of the game, Offense, Defense, and Special Teams. Thornton helped lead Baltimore City College Highschool to a nice 8-2 record, without including two forfeits prior to the game. City placed 3rd in the division after a loss to Liganore in the state playoffs.

Mount St. Joseph | 2022

| 5’10 170lbs | Mount St. Joseph
Offers: Frostburg State, Gannon Univ., Shippensburg Univ., Edinboro Univ.
Kibby who recently appeared in "East Coast Volt: Tryout Standouts" made the All-MIAA Team, Maryland Crab Bowl and BTC All-Star Games. He went on to catch 9 touchdowns and threw for a few, as well as in the BTC All-Star Game. Kibby proved to be as explosive as advertised making spectacular and contested catches a norm for him in 2021. He helped lead a very young Geals team to a 7-4 season, where they played in a few thrilling games. Throughout the season Kibby grew as the big play receiver while he enhanced his craft as a deep ball threat.
Check out this clip I caught of Kibby early this past season:

Wheeler
6'2" | 185 lbs | WR
Fallston | 2022
State
MD
| 6’2 185lbs | Fallston
Offers: None
The leading receiver according to Max Preps with 1300+ yards and 24 touchdowns is the most unrecruited/underrated player on this list. At 6’2 185lbs he has great size to be productive if not dominate at the next level. Wheeler was selected to play in the Maryland Crab Bowl All-Star game due to his performance this past season. He is a playmaker with the ball in his hands, he can make plays after the catch on screens and short routes while also being a down field threat along the numbers. His size allows him to use his stiff arm to break tackles and has deceptional speed, an athlete we'd describe as a long strider. I expect this kid to rack up at least a handful of offers before the signing period is over.

Gavin Nelson
Gavin
Nelson
6'1" | 180 lbs | WR
Franklin | 2022
State
MD
| 6 180lbs | Franklin
Offers: Monmouth (Committed),
Nelson is no surprise as he was included in the "Top Performers: Wide Receiver" list about halfway through the season. After having a productive sophomore year on varsity for the Indians, Gavin's breakout year was supposed to be 2020 which was cancelled due to the pandemic. In 2021 Nelson hit the ground running as he separated himself from the pack early in the season. He turned heads as early as preseason scrimmages against Mount Saint Joseph, where he demonstrated his big play ability with deep touchdown catches and big plays on special teams. From that moment on Gavin elevated the rest of the season, leading his team in receiving stats with 1178 yards and 14 receiving touchdowns. Nelson also recorded 11 all-purpose touchdowns to add to his touchdown total, 26. He was named overall player of the game 5 times this season, helping lead the Indians to a 9-3 record and to the semifinal game in the playoffs where they suffered a 38-49 loss to Fredrick. Nelson plays with relentlessness and determination; I'm surprised he didn't get his D1 offer earlier.

Drake
5'10" | 165 lbs | WR
Old Mill | 2022
State
MD
| 5’10 170lbs | Old Mill
Offers: None
Drake is a very overlooked prospect but has the physical ability to put up numbers amongst the state leaders in receiving. He was a Maryland Crab Bowl All-Star Game selection, where I go to see him practice one last time. In person he's a very smooth receiver, as he runs routes with ease and creates space between him and defenders. There is no recording on his vertical, but I've had the opportunity to see him climb the ladder in person and he gets some serious air. He ended the season with 920 yards, 13 touchdowns, contributed on special teams as a kick and punt returner, and played defense recording 2 interceptions, 1 for a pick six. Drake's defensive ability isn't too shabby either. Just like with his routes, he's smooth in his back pedal and brakes, and does a good job of not panicking when the ball is in the air. Drake is a weapon just waiting for a home at the next level, it should be an interesting off season for him.

Noah Bull

Bull
5'11" | 175 lbs | WR
Loyola Blakefield | 2022
State
MD
| 6'1 200lbs | Loyola
Offer: Navy, Univ. of San Diego
Move: WL to #13
Bull ended his High School career with a bang, he helped his team reach the MIAA-B State Championship and caught a walk off winning touchdown in the annual Crab Bowl, played against rival Calvert Hall on Thanksgiving Day. Bull is a heck of a prospect, great body size and frame, he's physically ready for the next level. Would love to see him make more explosive plays, that would easily catapult him into the top 10 receivers in the state.
