Camdan McWright Camdan McWright 6'0" | 190 lbs | RB St. Genevieve | 2022 State CA , St. Genevieve
McWright exploded this season rushing for 1,667 yards and 24 touchdowns while averaging almost 13 yards per carry. At 6’0” 190 lbs. his running style is good combination of power and speed. He has the contact balance and strength to pick up tough yardage between the tackles but also has the speed to turn the corner to the outside. Love his lateral agility and acceleration out of his cuts, shows he can make the first man miss at the line of scrimmage with a quick cut and burst out to get to the second level. Picked up his first offer from Army prior to the season then added Portland State and San Jose State after his strong start. Ultimately, signed with San Jose State on Early Signing Day.
Viliami Teu Viliami Teu 5'10" | 190 lbs | RB St. Francis | 2022 State CA , St. Francis
Teu finished as one of the leading rushers in the state with 2,211 yards and 27 touchdowns. Possesses smooth and savvy athleticism with a strong well-built 5’11” 195 lb. frame. He’s a tough and physical downhill runner with deceptive quickness and lateral agility in space. He’s a natural ball carrier with great vision, patience, and instincts as he reads his blocks and finds an open running lane. Strong initial burst, he runs hard and fast through the line of scrimmage breaking tackles on his way to second level defenders. He was the work horse in the St. Francis offense that went undefeated through the regular season with big wins over De La Salle and Serra. Offered by San Jose State on December 11th and signed with them shortly after on Early Signing Day.

Petelo Gi Petelo Gi 5'9" | 175 lbs | RB Serra | 2022 State CA , Serra
Playing for one of the top teams in northern California, Gi capped off a strong season with a huge performance in the Open Division State Championship against the #1 team in the country, Mater Dei. He has a strong and compact frame at 5’9” 195 lbs. with the ability to run through defenders or around them. Flashes quick feet and good short area burst to make the first defender miss at the LOS. Upon contact he’s powerful at the POA using good leg drive and leverage to maintain his forward momentum. He’s tough to tackle for any high school defender with a great ability to pick up yards after contact. No offers yet but has the potential, upside, and versatility to play multiple positions at the college level.

Desmin Jackson Desmin Jackson 5'10" | 175 lbs | RB Orange Lutheran | 2022 State CA , Orange Lutheran
Jackson was an explosive playmaker and a big piece to Orange Lutheran’s deep run in the playoffs, finishing the season with 1,357 yards rushing and 10 touchdowns while adding another 600 yards and five touchdowns receiving. He possesses a strong and versatile skillset with his ability both as a runner and receiver. He’s a balanced ball carrier that sees the field well and can hit the cut back lane. Love his ability to make defenders miss with his start/stop speed and quick jump cuts. As a receiver, he’s equally as effective out of the backfield or lined up in the slot flashing great body control, coordination, and hands. Committed to Dartmouth in early November and also holds an offer from Cal Poly.

Ryan Warkentin Ryan Warkentin 5'10" | 180 lbs | RB Reedley | 2022 State CA , Reedley
Finished as one of the state’s leading rushers with just over 2,000 yards and 28 touchdowns. At 5’10 185 lbs. he’s a strider with good long speed and a sustained burst through the second level. He runs well behind his pads with good leverage and pad level to absorb contact and break through arm tackles. He’s patient and allows the play to develop while successfully reading his blocks and defenders to find an angle. He’s a homerun threat every time he touches the ball with great awareness and instincts to use a variety of moves to make defenders miss in the open field. Picked up an offer from Valparaiso midseason and recently added D2 Black Hills State.

Jalen Shaw Jalen Shaw 6'0" | 170 lbs | RB Scripps Ranch | 2022 State CA , Scripps Ranch
Playing in only 10 games this season due to injury, Shaw still racked up 1,400 scrimmage yards and 22 touchdowns. He’s plus athlete with a wide and versatile skillset that will transition well to the college level at either RB or DB. He flashes excellent initial burst/acceleration coming hard and fast out of his stance. Displays his fluidity with his change-of-direction, quick hips, and smooth movement on both sides of the ball. Can cut and weave using his start/stop speed but is at his best as a one cut slasher that gets vertical. Shows strong, reliable, and confident hands to be effective in the passing game. Recruiting is heating up with recent offers from San Diego, Valparaiso, and Benedictine.
