1. Dior Bradfield (SR-QB) – Weiss High School (Pflugerville, TX)
Stats: 382 passing yards, 8 passing touchdowns
Bradfield had an insane game against Veterans Memorial. Rarely does one see the numbers produced and with no interceptions on top of it. Bradfield essentially had the most perfect game a quarterback could have except if he had connected on every pass. Still, Bradfield is on another level when it is counting and his team sees that as well.
2. Daelen Alexander (JR-RB) – Weiss High School (Pflugerville, TX)
Stats: 113 rushing yards, 1 rushing touchdown, 3 receptions, 154 receiving yards, 2 receiving touchdowns
Alexander also had a strong game. He was all over the field and truly showcased his ability to not just run effectively but also catch the ball as a running back. These types of athletes are huge for an offense as it allows teams to have so many options in the playbook. One of his biggest plays comes from a 65-yard touchdown run where he fully utilized his offensive line’s ability to create a hole and could not be caught once he got into open field.
3. Jeremiah Robinson (SR-WR) – Weiss High School (Pflugerville, TX)
Stats: 3 receptions, 95 receiving yards, 2 receiving touchdowns
Robinson also had a big game as a receiver. Besides Alexander, he led the receivers in yards and tied with both Alexander and senior wide receiver Christian Morgan in touchdowns. More so, Robinson did all of this with just three receptions in the game, averaging 31.7 yards per catch. Usually, teams have a dynamic duo or trio, but Weiss has four talented athletes that can light up the scoreboard.
4. Christian Morgan (SR-WR) – Weiss High School (Pflugerville, TX)
Stats: 6 receptions, 85 receiving yards, 2 receiving touchdowns
Last but not least, Morgan was the main workhorse in receptions, leading the team with six. He averaged 14.2 yards per catch. One of his biggest plays includes a 13-yard touchdown reception in the corner of the endzone. On this play, he ran his route perfectly and really showed his catching ability as well.
