The state has produced multiple 5-star offensive linemen in recent years, so they do come through often. Here are a few standout 2023 offensive linemen who are having big seasons this fall….
Bo Hughley – Langston Hughes
The big Atlanta native looks like the top OL prospect in Georgia at the moment. The massive 6-foot-7 280-pounder already looks the part with his length, height, and frame to continue adding good weight and muscle. He’s lean right now but still has plenty of time to continue filling out. Hughley has a strong initial punch and shows great footwork and a balanced base in pass protection. His long arms giving him an advantage over smaller edge defenders, and he can be a dominant force in the run game as well. Length is something you can’t teach, and that’s exactly what Hughley has. He held down the left tackle spot for an impressive Langston Hughes team as a sophomore last year and will man down that spot again for the next two years. Hughley is already committed to play at Georgia.
First i want to thank all the coaches that i have ever played for in my life i would love to thank my parents i would also like to thank @KirbySmartUGA for this chance but i well be taking all my talents to University of Georgia @RecruitLangston @williamsdo @1CoachCoop pic.twitter.com/qZTaLwxsOm

Shamurad Umarov Shamurad Umarov 6'6" | 275 lbs | OL Denmark | 2023 State GA – 2023 – Offensive Tackle
One of the top offensive line prospects in the entire state, Umarov is a big 6-foot-6 295-pounder who has had an impressive junior season so far. The junior has a great frame, plenty of length, and still looks lean enough to continue adding solid weight and muscle. He plays with a solid base and shows impressive footwork for someone his size. He’s still learning, but he’s getting better and better with each game. He’s excellent in pass protection and knows how to get his man in the ground in the run game. He has big, strong hands and is developing and learning as the season moves along. Umarov has a lot of potential and could quickly rise in the 2023 rankings over the next few months. He recently earned a new offer from Tennessee, and he currently holds other offers from Florida, North Carolina, Virginia Tech, and USF.
After a great conversation with @Gelarbee I am excited to announce I have earned an offer to The University of Tennessee #GBO pic.twitter.com/XO2jNX0ICI

Zechariah Owens Zechariah Owens 6'7" | 345 lbs | OL Eagle;s Landing Christian Academy | 2023 State GA – ECLA
Looking for size? Owens is a meaty lineman with lots of mass and raw strength. The big 6-foot-7 345-pounder is a force in the run game and has no problem throwing opposing defensive linemen backwards. He was simply too big and too powerful for defensive linemen in the region to handle. He takes up a lot of space and is very thick in the lower body. He can’t be pushed backwards and can be too wide for speedy defenders to get around. He has long arms, plays with balance, and is one of the top left tackles in the entire classification. The big metro-Atlanta lineman recently earned an offer from FSU.
Blessed to wake up on my birthday and receive an offer from Florida State University @CoachAAtkins @Jeremey_FSU @ELCAFootball pic.twitter.com/EmpJdEs6At

Johnny Williams Johnny Williams 6'6" | 285 lbs | OL Northeast | 2023 State GA IV – Northeast
If there’s another SEC-caliber offensive lineman in Middle Georgia, it’s the big tackle from Macon. A great-looking prospect with height and length at. 6-foot-6 290-pounds, the Northeast standout already looks like an SEC tackle. He shows above-average footwork and balance, and proved last year as a sophomore that he has the ability to protect the passer. He can overpower smaller defenders in the run game, but his length raw potential have college coaches drooling. He plays with a mean streak, blocks until the whistle, and can really intimidate his opponent. Williams IV earned a major offer from Oregon last month and holds other offers from Georgia, FSU, Virginia, and Arizona State.
After a great talk with @CoachMirabal I am blessed to receive an offer from The University of Oregon💚💛 pic.twitter.com/qeDAnYztZs

Madden Sanker Madden Sanker 6'4" | 275 lbs | OL South Paulding | 2023 State GA – South Paulding
Sanker is a tough, nasty lineman and one of the top wrestlers in the state. He has great size at 6-foot-5 285-pounds and loves to play with a mean streak. He’s strong, powerful, and fundamentally sounds. Once he gets his hands on the defender, it’s over. Sanker also does a great job of driving his opponent backwards and doesn’t stop until the whistle is blown. He’s big and physical enough to play on the interior as well, and he’ll certainly get a look there at the next level. He has a handful of offers this second, but his film from last fall and impressive spring so far should lead to some bigger offers sooner than later. Sanker is one of the top overall offensive line prospects in the state already and has a chance to prove he’s one of the best in the country with a big junior season. Sanker recently earned an offer from North Carolina.
