He had a career-high in passing yards and touchdowns in Mater Dei’s round one win against Norco. The sophomore completed 20 of 26 passes for 369 yards and six touchdowns. Earlier in the season they relied heavily on the running game but Hochberg has been on fire lately. He completed 24 of 32 passes for 362 yards and five touchdowns in Long Beach Poly’s blowout win over Upland. He had a nice game in Mira Mesa’s playoff win over Christian of El Cajon completing 15 of 24 passes for 253 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Line is a 6-foot-1 sophomore with some room to gain some muscle. He has completed over 62 percent of his passes in each of the last three games.
