The semi-finals are here in the Garden State. I can promise you that this week will be more thrilling than last week.
That being said, scroll down below to get a closer look at the matchups for tomorrow night.

Pennsauken at Millville
when: Friday at 6pm
The top-seeded Millville enter this game on a five game winning streak sitting at (8-1). They have a chance to get passed the second round for the first time since 2016. Millville has a great chance in doing so, led by Senior QB [player_tooltip player_id="190993" first="Nate" last="Robbins"] (Millville) who has been playing very efficient all year. Robbins is very close in accumulating 2,000 passing yards this year and his touchdown to interception ratio is magnificent. On the other hand, fourth- seeded Pennsauken enters this game at (8-2). Junior WR Khalil Ali (Pennsauken) and Sophomore QB [player_tooltip player_id="220048" first="Dante" last="Viccharelli"] (Pennsauken) are a dynamic duo for this high powered offense. Last game against Central, Viccharelli connected with Ali for three touchdowns. Pennsauken will look to use this same formula Friday night. Expect both teams to light up the scoreboard.
South Jersey, Group 1
Pennsgrove at Woodbury
when: Saturday at 10:30am
Undefeated Woodbury (9-0) will face Pennsgrove for the second time this season. In their previous matchup, Woodbury came away with the win and forced 5 turnovers but their star player Senior RB Theodore Lockhart (Woodbury) did not play due to injury. Lockhart is back fully healthy and will look to have a big game. However, Pennsgrove is coming off a win over Maple Shade. and has claimed the Group 1 title two of three years. This will be a very interesting matchup to say the least.
South Jersey, Group 5
Williamstown vs Hillsborough
when: Friday at 7pm
Williamstown will look to upset undefeated Hillsborough on the road Friday night. Hillsborough has a strong passing attack led by Senior QB [player_tooltip player_id="190996" first="Jay" last="Mazuera"] (Hillsborough) under center. Mazuera has great size and is averaging 180 yards passing per game. He currently has 1,353 passing yards, 18 TDs and 4 INTs on the season thus far. In order for Williamstown to pull out an upset they must get pressure on Mazuera if not it will be a long day. On the other hand, Williamstown has no problem scoring points led by Villanova commit Senior RB [player_tooltip player_id="27990" first="Turner" last="Inge"] (Williamstown). Expect Hillsborough to load the box and force Williamstown to beat them through the air but don’t be surprised if Williamstown pulls out the upset.
South Jersey , Group 4
Clearview at Shawnee
when: Friday at 7pm
These two teams are very familiar with each other. The last time these teams met was in 2018 and Shawnee pulled away with a double-overtime victory. Senior QB Matt Wesley (Shawnee) will look to make his senior season one to remember. He is a dual- threat quarterback who has a strong arm and quick feet. Wesley is elusive in the open field , so Shawnee will look to get him going early. However, Clearview enters this game after upsetting Lacey Township last week. Clearview has embraced the role in being an underdog and they will enter this game fired up. Senior RB Bobby Counsellor (Clearview) had a impressive performance last week carrying the ball nine times for 125 yards and one score. Both teams have a great offense. The team that makes the fewest mistakes will come out on top.
South Jersey, Group 1
Gloucester at Paulsboro
when: Saturday at 11am
Gloucester have been playing well all season long sitting at (8-0). Senior RB Steven Burkhardt (Gloucester) is arguably one of the best running backs in New Jersey. Burkhardt has 1,729 yards and 27 TDs and holds the school record in rushing yards and touchdowns in a single season. Burkhardt is a down-hill runner and will take more than two guys to bring him, he is that good. On the other hand, Paulsboro enters this game sitting at (8-1) led by Senior WR Keyshun Sanders (Paulsboro) who is their best player on both sides of the ball. He is their favorite target, therefore Gloucester will need to contain him. Also, Burkhardt will need to have another monster performance for Gloucester to come away with a win.
