Playoff Preview Gretna @ Elkhorn South

Rematch! One of the most exciting things in the whole football season is the playoffs. This week the Storm meets with the Dragons for a second time,. The first game between the two rivals was close game ending with an Elkhorn south Victory. This game could be a mix of multiple things for both sides. Gretna’s revenge for earlier this year and a chance to go to State for the first time in Football. Elkhorn South wants to live on and push with their powerful offense  and defense to get to state. <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>First Meeting</strong></p>  A few weeks ago Gretna traveled to Elkhorn to face off, Gretna came in undefeated while Elkhorn South came in with only one loss. The Storm controlled the game with a total of 75 plays and 20 first downs. Gretna still had fight going down kicking before an interception ruined their chance at the comeback. Elkhorn Souths defense was able to slow and stop the mighty [player_tooltip player_id="217055" first="Zane" last="Flores"].  Elkhorn South would claim victory over Gretna 28-20. <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Rematch</strong></p> Statistic wise the Dragons are huge and have only racked up even more since the first match. They have out scored their opponents 128-76, [player_tooltip player_id="217055" first="Zane" last="Flores"] has thrown for 673 yards and 6 touchdowns. For the Storm has had a special situation they have played Kearny High School twice in the last few weeks and has had  497 total rushing yards in their two match ups since. Elkhorn South has also had outscored opponents 77-37.
