Jackson Offensive Standouts: Week 10

We’re highlighting some of the best offensive performances from the Jackson area from week 11. Cole Simpson - Lumen Christi - RB - 6'0" 180lbs Simpson was fantastic on Friday yet again. He's going to make big explosive plays every time he steps on the field. He was all over the defense on Friday. He was making guys miss and getting into the open field on a regular basis. He finished the night with over 100-yard and 2 TDs on the night as they got the win. Keelan Mullin - Addison - ATH - 5'7" 155 lbs Mullin lines up all over the field for Addison. He'll play RB and then the next snap lineup at WR. They like to get him the ball in space and see what he can do with it. He scored 2 long TDs on the night. He had TDs of 43 and 71-yards. The 71-yarder broke open the game and they took a 2 possession lead over last year's state champs. He also added 155-yards on the ground as they got the win. Nick Trumble - Addison - RB - 6'0" 175 lbs Trumble and Mullin were an awesome combo on Friday. Addison uses these 2 players to the best of their abilities which is why they were able to take down the defending champs. When Mullin wasn't killing the defense it was Trumble who was in doing the damage. Trumble is the bigger back they like to use in the A and B gaps. He rushed for over 135-yards on the night and added a TD. Nolan Wheeler - Parma Western - QB Wheeler was Parma Western's entire offense on Friday and they needed it. Without him, I'm not sure the offense would have done literally anything. Wheeler was the sole reason any drive was extended. He did a ton of damage with his legs and moved the chains when they needed it most. He also made a few decent throws that had the stands yelling. He put up their only 2 TDs on the night in a hard-fought win.
