Flint Offensive Standouts: Week 10

We’re highlighting some of the best offensive performances from the Flint area from week 10. Lucas Storm - Lake Fenton - RB - 5’10" 170 lbs Storm had the game of his life on Friday. The running game was working and there was no reason to switch off from it. Storm was gashing the defense all night. He was making 1 cut and getting downhill in a flash. He was patient with his vision and he benefited. He had 174 rushing yards and 4 total TDs as he helped Lake Fenton blow past Ortonville Brandon. [player_tooltip player_id="103487" first="Rafael" last="Woods"] - New Lothrop - RB - 5’9" 140 lbs What he doesn’t have in size he makes up with explosiveness and he looked good on Friday. Woods is a very quick and shifty back who gets to his top speed in a hurry. He likes to jump the ball outside and see if he can’t make the huge play. He’s good out of the backfield and has soft enough hands to be a viable threat in the passing game. Woods rushed for 127-yards and a TD Friday as they got the win. Jaden Edington - Corunna - RB - 6’0" 195 lbs Edington is a stronger back that Corunna likes to use in those short-yardage situations where they need their guy to win. Luckily for them, Edington thrives in that role and came through for them on Friday. He gets downhill in a hurry and is going to fight for the tough yards. He rushed for 86-yards and 2 TDs on Friday as they ran past Powers. Will Damaska - North Branch - QB - 5’11" 180 lbs Not a ton went right for North Branch but Damaska was able to salvage the night for them. Damaska was the sole bright spot for that offense and if the ball was going to move Damaska needed to make it happen. He was a threat on the ground just enough to make St. Clair’s offense respect it. He put up over 150-yards on offense and 2 TDs on the night.
