#10 East Lansing @ #2 South Lyon (D2) - Here’s a matchup that could go either way. South Lyon is having an incredible season, going undefeated in the regular season for the first time since 2018. South Lyon has always been a great team that has largely dominated the Lakes Valley conference, and every big non-league matchup has been great over the past few years. As for East Lansing, they’re performing exceptionally well despite the big 2020 class which included Andrel Anthony, who stood out for the Wolverines last week against MSU. Another aspect that favors East Lansing is the superior strength of schedule, and they’ve faced incredible teams such as Grand Blanc and DeWitt.

#24 Waterford Mott @ #19 Walled Lake Western (D2) - These teams met during week 7 of the season, and Walled Lake Western squeaked out the win 34-32. These are two teams that are very familiar with one another, and this should make for a great contest. Both teams have struggled to get past the 2nd round, so this will be a huge achievement for whoever wins.

#6 Allen Park @ #3 Carlson (D3) - Here’s a big "prove it" moment for Carlson, who despite being ranked #3 in DIII, is an underdog in this one. Carlson is 9-1 with their one loss being against guess who? Allen Park. Even though Allen Park defeated Carlson pretty decisively, they do have a common opponent in Woodhaven. Carlson defeated Woodhaven 28-14, while Allen Park fell to Woodhaven 33-28. I expect this to be a good one with a ton on the line for both squads!

#23 St. Marys @ #8 Brother Rice (D3) - Here’s two more teams who are very familiar with one another fighting for a District trophy. Brother rice will be the sure favorite here, though I absolutely would not count St. Marys out of this one. Both teams have a great pool of talent with great coaching staffs. Brother Rice won the head to head matchup 43-25.
