We took a look at the first four championship games from last week, so now we wrap up the final three.
That means one standout player from the Class 2A, Class 3A and first-ever Class 5A title games that took place inside the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls.
CLASS 2A
[player_tooltip player_id="147479" first="Kolson" last="Kruse"] - Southeast Valley - QB/S - 6-0 - 170
Honestly, nobody was better than [player_tooltip player_id="147479" first="Kolson" last="Kruse"] in Cedar Falls. The Southeast Valley senior dominated in two games, capping things off with 300 yards passing and four total touchdowns to give the Jaguars their first-ever title.
Kruse showed incredible instincts throughout, evading would-be tacklers and flexing his big arm with long throws to receivers Tre Fisher and Eli Johnson. He was also in on every defensive snap and played special teams for Southeast Valley, showing his all-around abilities and talent.
CLASS 3A
[player_tooltip player_id="104082" first="Teagon" last="Kasperbauer"] - Harlan - QB - 6-2 - 185
Just a junior, [player_tooltip player_id="104082" first="Teagon" last="Kasperbauer"] will be leaving his mark on the state record books when it is all said and done. After guiding Harlan to the finals a year ago, the Cyclones earned redemption behind him this fall.
Kasperbauer was 20 of 27 passing for 273 yards and two TDs in a win over Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley. He is extremely accurate and actually handles several snaps under center, which should delight college coaches as it is not the norm anymore.
CLASS 5A
[player_tooltip player_id="23947" first="Jaxon" last="Dailey"] - Southeast Polk - QB - 6-3 - 222
You could name any number of players from Southeast Polk in this article. The Rams are as loaded as anyone in the state, but it all starts with the quarterback.
[player_tooltip player_id="23947" first="Jaxon" last="Dailey"] has constantly provided the leading hand to the attack for the Rams. In the finals, he was 14-for-19 passing for 134 yards, adding 31 yards rushing and a score.
Dailey is the consummate leader, and will be taking his talents to the FBS level at Arkansas State in the fall.
