Championship Report: Archbishop v Norfolk Catholic Standouts

The afternoon game was a battle of Catholic High Schools in Class C-2. Both schools incorporate all grades at their schools and every age level attended the game and cheered passionately. Here is who balled out: &nbsp; [player_tooltip player_id="147831" first="Koa" last="McIntyre"] | Archbishop Bergan | QB/WR/CB | 6’0"  190lbs | Class of 2022 Koa showed out in the championship game with his first pass being an 80 yard touchdown. He only had one incompletion in the first half , throwing for 187 yards and 3 touchdowns. He ended the day with 262 yards and 5 touchdowns through the air. He is an electric player and did not even have to use his feet, which are deadly, to lead them to a championship. He is a deep play threat who has the ability to make a house call whenever he touches the ball. He had 4 catches for 60 yards and 2 touchdowns. One of the touchdowns went for over 40 yards. Kade did about all of his damage in the first half and the Knights had a big lead at the half then took their foot off the gas some in the 2nd half. Kade has received interest from the North Dakota St, South Dakota St,  Wyoming and Nebraska. <a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2GUzwP">http://www.hudl.com/v/2GUzwP</a> &nbsp; [player_tooltip player_id="198093" first="Lucas" last="Pruss"] | Archbishop Bergan | WR/OLB | 6’2"  180lbs | Class of 2022 Lucas started the game with a bang by catching an 80 yard touchdown. He has good speed and soft hands from his time on the basketball court. Lucas made a big play every time he touched the ball. He ended with 3 catches for 163 yards with 2 touchdowns and set the tone for the game right out of the gates. Lucas is currently uncommitted. <a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2GUzwP">http://www.hudl.com/v/2GUzwP</a> &nbsp; Jarret Boggs | Archbishop Bergan | RB | 6’0"  180lbs | Class of 2022 Archbishop got a lead and then just fed Jarret for a lot of the 2nd half. Jarret was an impressive downhill runner who ran through contact and demonstrated how physcially outmatched Norfolk Catholic was. Jarret had 17 carries for 131 yards and a touchdown. He was running with determination and arm tackles were just not enough on Tuesday. He ran tough when he had his hands on the ball ending with 153 yards and 2 touchdowns. He was elusive and hit always made positive plays on the field. Karter runs with confidence and should have a big senior year. He was 7 for 7 in extra points and had an amazing squib kick placement which led to a onside recovery deep in Norfolk Catholic territory.
