Cody Hanna Cody Hanna 6'0" | 185 lbs | LB Prescott | 2023 State AZ , LB, Prescott ’23
Hanna sizes up with a lean, muscular frame and build at 6’1″ 205lbs and possesses excellent functional strength. High motor kid with the demeanor to deliver a vicious blow on any given play. Versatile at LB as he can line up in the box and fill alleys, or serve as a solid edge rusher and plays with violence anywhere he lines up. Strong at the POC with a nice striking ability, and is maturing into a well-polished LB for Prescott.
Kaleb Hill, DL, Bradshaw ’22
Hill did an outstanding job shutting down Prescott’s inside run, which is their bread and butter. Definitely showed up prepared as you could clearly tell he pays attention in the film room. He did a great job utilizing strength along with violent hands to shed blocks to put himself in position to make plays. He totaled 16 tackles and 1.5 sacks on the night.
Cody Leopold Cody Leopold 5'10" | 185 lbs | ATH Prescott | 2023 State AZ , ATH, Prescott ’23
Leopold flashed some good potential on the defensive side of the ball as well. He shows solid instincts at LB and possesses a good understanding of angles with strength at the POA. He did a pretty good job of shedding blocks to help stop Bradshaw’s heavy run, and assisted on numerous tackles. Overall a reliable player for Prescott on both sides of the ball as he continues to have a productive season.
Michael Kelley, LB, Bradshaw ’22
Kelley also did a great job in the box for Bradshaw to play a major impact in shutting down that power scheme, inside run. He displayed good play rec and flashed instincts to quickly identify and fill alleys to meet ball carries at the LOS. Strong lower half to overpower opponents and deliver a nice strike at the POC. He totaled 15 tackles and is a huge key player on that Bradshaw defense that continues to have an impressive senior campaign.
Cervando Vega, DB, Prescott ’22
Vega is a scrappy player for Prescott and does a great job at DB. He flies around and closes well as a tackler, possessing good short area quickness and burst. He’ll frequently stick his nose in plays and displays a sneaky big striking ability if he can get a clean shot at his opponent. Solid range with the ability to make plays coast to coast, and possesses a high motor.
