Fulgham is a fluid athlete and versatile playmaker on both sides of the ball but projects as a DB. He’s loose in the hips with quick feet and plus change of direction to match lateral movement and run with receivers all over the field. He’s a ball hawk that flashes a strong burst out of his transition to break on the ball and make a play at the intersect point. Love his natural instincts and route anticipation in coverage to put himself in position to be a difference maker, evident by his seven interceptions on the season, which is among the state’s best. Still growing at 5’8” 165 lbs. and doesn't shy away from contact or a one on one tackle. One to watch as he continues to progress and develop.
[player_tooltip player_id="217572" first="Bubba" last="Mustain"], ATH, Pusch Ridge
Mustain filled the stat sheet on both sides of the ball finishing with 64 receptions for just under 900 yards and 11 touchdowns at WR and racked up 72 total tackles with 5 interceptions as a DB. He’s a savvy athlete with strong hands and a great nose for the football. Possesses a long frame to extend out and snatch the ball out of the air at the high point. As a WR he’s a developing route runner that does a good job finding space and creating a throwing lane to present himself as a target. High football IQ and good reactionary quickness in the secondary, he shows good eye discipline and is quick to diagnose run/pass. He’s a reliable open field tackler in the backend that wraps up to the ground. He’ll be a two way playmaker at Pusch Ridge for the next several seasons.
[player_tooltip player_id="217564" first="Darron" last="Dodd-Stringfellow"], ATH, Basha
Dodd is another piece in the strong young core at Basha. Outstanding physical skillset and athleticism with his combination of speed, quickness, and ball skills. He’s fluid with his movement flashing great body control, coordination, and leaping ability to attack the ball in the air and make highlight reel catches at both WR and DB. Good short area burst and acceleration out of his breaks with developing top end/breakaway speed. Outstanding technical route runner that understands how to create separation using stems/nods while attacking the DB's positional leverage. Colleges will love his creativity and explosive playmaking ability on both sides of the ball. He’s a no doubt D1 prospect that will continue to rise up rankings and recruiting boards as he’s able to showcase his talent.

[player_tooltip player_id="217568" first="James" last="Diaz"], WR/DB, Cienega
Great size, length, and frame to build on at 6’3” 190 lbs. He’s a plus athlete with good natural movement skills and bend at his size. Possesses a versatile skillset that transitions well to both sides of the ball at the HS level where he can use his length and ball skills to time out his jump and make tough contested receptions on offense and effectively break up passes in the secondary. His large catch radius extends outside his frame work and he does a good job using his hands to catch everything away from his body. He runs well with the ability to attack the defense at all three levels as a WR and cover sideline to sideline as a DB. He’s a competitor that plays tough and aggressive throughout. He’s got a great upside as a college prospect.
