As a junior, Wells already possesses the size, length, and frame college coaches look for in an offensive lineman at 6’6” 290 lbs. Good natural strength and power in both the upper and lower body to explode at the POA. Does a good job uncoiling his hips and driving his legs/feet through contact to be a violent finisher as a run blocker. Also shows the strength to anchor down and stop an oncoming rush. Developing lateral movement skills to execute different blocks and mirror defensive lineman in pass protection. He’s one of the top 2023 prospects in the state without an offer thus far.

[player_tooltip player_id="42953" first="Preston" last="Slaton"], WR, Hamilton
A lot to like about Slaton’s physical skillset with his combination of size and athleticism at 6’3” 200 lbs. He runs well and can attack the defense at all three levels by being a strong route runner and using his length to be a big target. Flashes a good burst and release move off the LOS to break cushion and get into his route. Does a good job changing levels and dropping his hips in and out of his breaks to accelerate out and create separation. Displays good body control and ability to extend and attack the ball at the high point to bring in tough contested receptions. Also a physical and aggressive stalk blocker on the outside. He’s a well-rounded football player who’s skillset could transition to other positions at the college level depending on development.

[player_tooltip player_id="214072" first="Dominic" last="Ochoa"], QB, Liberty
The lefty is a true dual threat QB with his ability to make plays with both his arm and his legs. He’s a plus athlete that is smart and effective running the RPO making quick and decisive reads. Strong passer that can be accurate making off platform passes, shows he can zip a ball in a tight window or throw the deep ball with touch. Flashes good mechanics and mobility in the pocket, does a good job feeling and escaping pressure while keeping his eyes down field for an open target with a great ability to throw on the run to either direction. He’s a playmaker as a ball carrier using his speed and quickness to be elusive in the open field. Good potential and upside to build on.

[player_tooltip player_id="214073" first="Logan" last="Krei"], RB, Hamilton
Good all-around back that does a long of things well. He’s very instinctual with the ball in his hands showing good patience and field vision to find an open running lane and attack it. Flashes strong short area burst and acceleration through the hole and a sustainable second gear once he finds space. Possesses the strength and balance to run between the tackles and the speed to turn the corner on the outside. He’s a one cut runner that does a great job getting north/south. He’s a dual sport athlete (football/baseball) that has made huge strides since last year and if he continues on the same trajectory he’ll be a quality college prospect.
[player_tooltip player_id="214074" first="Nick" last="Switzer"], RB, Hamilton
Switzer has been a weapon all season long in the nationally ranked Hamilton offense. He’s an explosive all-purpose back that is a game changer both as a runner and a receiver out of the backfield. He’s a strider with good initial quickness and downhill long speed. He’s elusive in the open field using his lateral agility, spatial awareness, and acceleration out of his cuts to make defenders miss. Colleges will love his versatility as a receiver coming out of the backfield showing strong and confident hands on both short screen plays and down field routes. Good frame and skillset to build on at 6’0” 175 lbs. and expect his recruiting stock to be on the rise as he matures and progresses.

[player_tooltip player_id="214075" first="Jonathan" last="Kubat"], RB, Corona Del Sol
Kubat has been a workhorse for Corona Del Sol this season taking just under 170 carries for 1,000 yards and 17 touchdowns in the first eight games. He shows good initial quickness coming hard out of his stance and accelerating through the LOS. He does a great job reading his blocks and defenders to see angles and create open running lanes. Good combination of strength and lateral quickness to break through the first line of defenders and push to the secondary. He carries the ball with good leverage, balance, and pad level to run through contact and break tackles at all areas of the field. He’s one to watch going forward.

Linyard is an all-around impressive football player that is a game breaker in all three phases as a WR, DB, and returner. He’s a savvy athlete with deceptive speed and a high football IQ especially coming out of the slot. He’s a technician that understands how to attack a DB’s leverage and create separation. He’s smooth in/out of his breaks and does a great job mixing up speeds to get open and establish himself as a target. Plus ball skills, he uses his body control and coordination to track and adjust well to ball flight. He’s elusive as a ball carrier with good change-of-direction and a strong and sustainable second gear to make defenders miss in the open field. Under recruited to this point but with the strong junior campaign he’s put together this season he should see his recruiting stock on the rise.

Precise with his footwork and mechanics in the pocket he shows good composure while standing tall with a well-balanced platform to drive the ball off his back foot. Good ability to throw from different arm angles when needed without sacrificing accuracy. He’s a good athlete that can also tuck it and make plays with his legs. High academic prospect that will be one to watch as he continues to develop.

At 6’1” 175 lbs. he possesses good natural arm strength with the ability to place the ball downfield with touch or fit it in a tight window with velocity at the short/intermediate levels.
