<p class="p1"><span class="s1">The Wicksburg Panthers lost their final regular season game in week 9, 14-7, against Slocomb.</span></p>
<p class="p3"><span class="s2">Wicksburg will now have a week off before traveling for their playoff game in class 3A. </span></p>
<p class="p3"><span class="s2">Here are the top Panthers’ players from the game.</span></p>
<p class="p3"><span class="s2"><strong>Jackson Glover</strong> | 6-2 QB</span></p>
<p class="p3"><span class="s2">Glover looked poised in the pocket and led Wicksburg on a few crucial drives. The Senior quarterback threw the ball well and stayed calm under pressure. </span></p>
<p class="p3"><span class="s2"><strong>Jaylen Murry</strong> | 6-0 RB</span></p>
<p class="p3"><span class="s2">Murry was solid for Wicksburg in the ground game. He ran the ball well and used his power to muscle his way through the Redtops defense. </span></p>
<p class="p3"><span class="s2"><strong>Charles Snyder</strong> | 6-0 RB, WR</span></p>
<p class="p3"><span class="s2">Snyder stole the show for Wicksburg in the ground game. The running back looked elusive in the backfield. </span></p>
<p class="p3"><span class="s2"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="217479" first="Beau" last="Sellers"]</strong> | 6-3 T, DT</span></p>
<p class="p3"><span class="s2">Sellers blocked well up front on offense and was solid up front on defense. He protected the quarterback well and opened up lanes for the running backs. </span></p>
<p class="p3"><span class="s2"><strong>Payton Crutchfield</strong> | 6-0 LB, TE</span></p>
<p class="p3"><span class="s2">Crutchfield assisted on tackles all over the field at linebacker. He can get to the ball carrier quickly and was solid at tight end in blocking for the run game. </span></p>
<p class="p3"><span class="s2"><strong>Tyler Williams</strong> | 6-0 FS, WR</span></p>
<p class="p3"><span class="s2">Williams is a solid free safety that protected well against the pass. He can make tackles all over the field and get to the ball quickly. </span></p>
