San Diego State added a pair of good defensive prospects from Southern California this week. Centennial (Corona) cornerback [player_tooltip player_id="141869" first="Eric" last="Butler"] Jr. announced his commitment to the Aztecs on Sunday. Butler is part of an elite cornerback group at Centennial along with [player_tooltip player_id="25243" first="Jaden" last="Mickey"] who is committed to Notre Dame. He also had offers from Nevada, Fresno State, Kansas and New Mexico. [player_tooltip player_id="141920" first="Treyton" last="White"] of Eastlake (Chula Vista) committed to San Diego State on Tuesday. He has 40 tackles, six sacks and a forced fumble for Eastlake this season. He is having a nice junior season for the Monsoons, completing 60 percent of his passes for 1,119 yards and 9 touchdowns. His recruitment is heating up. San Diego State was the first school to offer Crum. He visited San Diego State Thursday and committed while on campus. He told Greg Biggins of 247Sports that he loved the facilities and felt a connection with the coaching staff.
