The receiver is a hair less than 6-feet-tall and around 175 pounds. Acevedo has nearly 600 yards on 20 catches with four touchdowns through five games for the Hornets. He is coming off the biggest game of his career against Otay Ranch where he caught four passes for 221 yards and a touchdown.
Acevedo also had offers from Idaho, UNLV and Utah State. He is the first player from Southern California in Fresno State’s 2022 recruiting class and the third receiver in the class.

Los Alamitos receiver DeAndre Moore DeAndre Moore 5'11" | 190 lbs | WR St. John Bosco | 2023 State CA committed to Oklahoma last Friday.
He is the third player in Los Alamitos’ 2023 class to commit to Oklahoma joining quarterback Malachi Nelson Malachi Nelson 6'3" | 195 lbs | QB Los Alamitos | 2023 State CA and receiver Makai Lemon Makai Lemon 6'0" | 175 lbs | ATH Los Alamitos | 2023 State CA .
Oklahoma has the number one 2023 recruiting class in its conference according to 247Sports. Moore transferred back to Los Alamitos prior to this season.
He had 21 other offers.

USC picked up commitments from two elite Southern California underclassmen this past week.
Class of 2024 receiver Jason Robinson from Long Beach Poly committed to the Trojans on Saturday.
Robinson has emerged as the leading receiver for the Jackrabbits this season with 23 catches with 255 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Arizona State, Pittsburgh and Utah also offered the talented sophomore.
He is undersized but has the ability to make plays after the catch and beats a lot of corners in man coverage.
Class of 2025 cornerback Jett White Jett White 6'1" | 155 lbs | DB Los Alamitos | 2025 CA from Orange also committed to the Trojans over the weekend.
White is the first player in the 2025 class in the entire nation to commit. He also had offers from Colorado, Michigan, Nevada and San Jose State.
He told 247Sports that USC was always his dream school and he committed on the spot after being offered.
White is a 6-foot-2 corner who has excellent ball skills and is very athletic. I covered a game of his two weeks ago and he had a 90-yard pick six.
