Chapman kicker [player_tooltip player_id="153249" first="Ricky" last="Montalvo"] has been an overlooked weapon on an offense that racks up yards and points. Also a baseball standout for the Panthers, Montalvo hit a different kind of walk-off on Friday, booting an overtime field goal to give Chapman a 38-35 win over Union County and a fifth straight region title.
<strong>Adonis Burgess</strong> had a big night for Chesnee in the Eagles' crucial Region II-2A win over Blacksburg. Burgess rushed for 124 yards and a touchdown, adding an 11-yard touchdown reception in Chesnee's 34-14 win.
<strong>Landon Bullock</strong> was a little bit of everywhere for Gaffney in a region-clinching victory over Clover. Bullock had 10 total tackles and nabbed an interception, his sixth takeaway of the season, as the Indians took a second-straight Region III-5A crown.
<strong>Kam Williams</strong> helped Boiling Springs take their first win of the year and lock down the final playoff spot from Region III-5A. Williams rushed 23 times for 246 yards and 3 touchdowns in the Bulldogs' win.
