Hunter Dutton – Concord – QB – 5’11” 200 lbs
Dutton was fantastic on Friday and started dealing early on in the game. He took Concord right down the field on the first drive of the game and helped punch it into the endzone for the score. He’s comfortable in the pocket as long as he isn’t pressured. He can deliver and make most of the throws they need him to. He finished the night with over 250-yards and 2 TDs in a shootout.
Bryson Brown – Warsaw – RB – 5’9″ 170 lbs
Brown is a really good speed back and is the oil to the engine that makes Warsaw’s offense go. Once he gets into a groove and finds his mojo he is incredibly hard to slow down. He’ll pick up big chunk plays and move the chains just about every time he touches the ball. He found the endzone for Warsaw’s first score of the night on a long TD run where he busted it to the outside, shook a defender, and stayed in to reach the endzone.
Brock Reschly – Northridge – WR – 6’2″ 175 lbs
Reschly is Northridge’s go-to guy and he delivers when they call his number. He has fantastic ball skills and is able to go up and come down with just about any ball. He isn’t going to be beaten on many routes either. When he’s feeling it he’s one of the best WRs in the area. He finished the night with over 150-yards and a TD as Northridge duked it out against Mishawaka.
Alec Hardrict – Penn – RB – 5’8″ 165 lbs
Hardict had a really good game. He’s proving to be a reliable back for Penn and when he’s able to get the edge he isn’t going to be caught. He broke open the scoring for Penn on the first drive of the game. He got a pitch, made a guy miss, got the edge, and was gone. He finished the game with over 100-yards and a TD.
Aalias Leonard – Elkhart – RB – 5’10” 175 lbs
Leonard is an extremely dynamic player and they like to get the ball in his hands in space. He’s going to make defenders miss on every play and get the most out of every snap he gets. He has the ability to jump out of his shoes as well. He was Elkhart’s workhorse again on Friday and he delivered. He put up over 150-yards and 2 TDs on the night.
