All of the positional rankings will be based on collegiate projection much like the overall list. Have a look at how I would have Oregon's D lineman ranked for the class of 2022 as of right now. 1. [player_tooltip player_id="28840" first="Kaden" last="Ludwick"] 6-5 245 DE Clackamas (COMMITTED: Colorado) When all is said done, I would project Ludwick to be Oregon’s #1 overall recruit and collegiately probably the most successful. The 3* DE/OLB is a disrupter coming off the edge and will be key if the Cavs are to make a title run. 2.[player_tooltip player_id="143892" first="Jacob" last="Strand"] 6-5 270 DE Canby (COMMITTED: Oregon St) Strand projects as the top O lineman in the state but could legitimately play on the defensive front for the Beavers. He is an unreal overall athlete causing havoc everywhere. On the season his 12 tackles for loss and 6 sacks put him in the 5A POY conversation. 3.[player_tooltip player_id="28835" first="Emar’rion" last="Winston"] 6-3 245 DE Central Catholic (COMMITTED: Oregon) Everyone knows the name and the talent within the family. You can’t argue with the success the Rams have had while he has been at CC. That said as the Ducks are recruiting some of the nation’s top talent at all positions, so we will see if he fits in on a very deep defensive front. 4.[player_tooltip player_id="28861" first="Logan" last="Chastain"] 6-1 280 DT Clackamas- One of the strongest athletes in the entire region. Chastain earned 1st team all-conference accolades as a Sophomore, setting the tone for his career. Teammates like Noah Preuitt are thriving because of the necessary attention given to D lineman like Logan and [player_tooltip player_id="28840" first="Kaden" last="Ludwick"]. 5.[player_tooltip player_id="28870" first="Kaden" last="Schell"] 6-4 250 DE Central Catholic- I’ve always been a big advocate of Schell. He is a three-year starter and has a nonstop motor, constantly causing problems for opponents on the interior. He has good size and could add to his frame, being a legit D1AA/D2 guy. 6.[player_tooltip player_id="28883" first="Braden" last="Rohde"] 6-3 240 DE Churchill- One of Oregon’s best and most versatile at the 5A level. Statistically he has been at the top of the charts, leading the state in sacks with 14, while moving very well for a kid who could be an OLB at the next level. Expect him to be in the mix for conference and state POY honors defensively. 7.[player_tooltip player_id="28847" first="Kale" last="Paslay"] 6-4 265 DT Marist- For his career Paslay will go down as one of the better D linemen ever to come out of the school. Covering the last three seasons he has accounted for 72 total tackles, 9 tackles for loss, and 4.5 sacks. From a recruiting standpoint it’s still a wait and see. 8.[player_tooltip player_id="28869" first="Leif" last="Beers"] 6-4 265 DT Tigard- The returning 1st team all-league D lineman hasn’t necessarily received the notoriety that some others may have gotten over the years, but he has done a great job. Separate from having the best name in the state the kid can play. 9.[player_tooltip player_id="204627" first="Demitri" last="Harris"] 6-4 230 DE Dallas- Not a lot of people know about Harris, but watch his film and you see why coach Andy Jackson speaks so highly of him. His get off is legit and he has a frame where you could add significant size at the collegiate level. 10.[player_tooltip player_id="145316" first="Dominick" last="Menegas"] 6-3 260 DE Southridge- The Skyhawks had a tough season but Menegas stuck out and kept the team competitive against the likes of Westview and Mountainside. With continued progression he could be a good small college athlete.
