We’re looking at some of the best unsigned DBs and where they could end up. Michigan has a plethora of DB’s with elite potential and we’re highlighting some of those players.

Lee is a true outside corner and he has the size and speed to be very successful at the next level. This year he’s really elevated his man-coverage abilities. He likes to jam off the line and reroute the WR and it’s working more often than not. He’s a fantastic athlete and is used as a gadget weapon here and there for Belleville. He’s currently sitting on offers from Akron, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Eastern Kentucky, and Kentucky.
[player_tooltip player_id="30158" first="Myles" last="Walton"] - Muskegon - CB - 5’11" 185 lbs
Walton is one of my favorite DBs to watch because he reminds me of Marcus Peters. He’s a very energetic player and feeds off of emotion. The bigger the moment gets the faster Walton flies around making plays. He’s a great athlete and can play inside or outside. He could also drop back to Safety if you need him to. He has offers from Buffalo, Central Michigan, and Western Michigan.
[player_tooltip player_id="30154" first="Glenie" last="Cross"] - Oak Park - S - 6’0" 175 lbs
Cross is a 3-star recruit but that feels really low. He’s more explosive and dynamic than that. He’s going to sit back and make every play that comes his way. Nothing is going to get past him and he’s good for a pick per game it seems. The coaches across the country must agree here because as of late the offers have started pouring in. He’s now been offered by Air Force, Arizona State, Buffalo, Columbia, Central Michigan, and Cincinnati just to name a few.
[player_tooltip player_id="30164" first="Nate" last="Briggs"] - Cass Tech - CB - 5’8" 160 lbs
Briggs is the opposite of the first 2 corners we looked at but Briggs is a baller. He’s incredibly scrappy and always in the face of the WR. He’s great in the slot and has the footwork to succeed outside when needed. He has the physical tools to succeed but he could put some weight on since he is a shorter CB. He’s recently been offered by Central Michigan and Southern Miss.
[player_tooltip player_id="80532" first="Charles" last="Gillespie"] - Oak Park - DB - 6’2" 180 lbs
Gillespie is a true DB because he doesn’t quite fit just one position. He’s long enough and athletic enough to play the inside and outside CB spots while playing both safety spots. He has the speed and intangibles to play on the field side as well. How far he goes depends on how hard he works and he appears to be an incredibly hard worker. He’s recently been offered by Central Michigan and Western Michigan.
