Huntley’s season record: 48-14
Santa Ana vs. Orange
Analysis: The top two teams in the Orange Coast League. Santa Ana is 8-1 with its only loss being a close one to El Modena. Orange has three losses but played a more challenging schedule against Yorba Linda, Villa Park and Foothill. [player_tooltip player_id="141934" first="Zachary" last="Siskowic"] had six touchdowns against Saddleback last week. [player_tooltip player_id="115424" first="Kobe" last="Boykin"] is the most explosive playmaker on the field for either team in this game. Orange has other quality skill guys in Arron "Jett" White and Justin Harris Jr. and an elite pass rusher in [player_tooltip player_id="186974" first="Blaze" last="Iglesias"]. Santa Ana has a great two-way player in [player_tooltip player_id="143137" first="Jason" last="Costa"] and former Orange receiver Raymond Casillas. Orange needs to play disciplined because Santa Ana does not make mistakes. But I think Orange has too much talent for the Saints to overcome.

Bishop Amat vs. Serra (Gardena)
Analysis: Bishop Amat is the best team in the San Gabriel Valley and the Lancers scheduled a tough nonleague slate to prepare for games like this. They have a league loss to Alemany and Serra is undefeated in league but avoided Alemany. Tobin O’Dell has been solid at quarterback and [player_tooltip player_id="145208" first="Delano" last="Franklin"] is a true number one receiver. Devon Jones leads the decent Amat defense but the Lancers have only forced six turnovers this season with one interception. The headliner for Serra is quarterback [player_tooltip player_id="25228" first="Maalik" last="Murphy"] who is committed to Texas. Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id="147716" first="Cincere" last="Rhaney"] is a load at running back for Serra. This is one of the biggest games in Murphy’s high school career.
The pick: Bishop Amat
Warren vs. Downey
Analysis: This is the San Gabriel Valley League championship. Warren quarterback [player_tooltip player_id="25390" first="Nico" last="Iamaleava"] is the best player in this game. Marcus Higgs had ran for three touchdowns in the spring matchup between the two teams. Downey quarterback [player_tooltip player_id="25366" first="Aidan" last="Chiles"] is out with an injury but Noah Paez has filled in more than competently. Andrew Garcia (81 tackles) and Noah Gonzalez (7 sacks) lead the Downey defense. Junior EJ Smith leads the Warren defense in tackles and interceptions. Both teams haven’t played anybody good in awhile and Warren is coming off a bye.

San Clemente vs. Mission Viejo
Analysis: This is one of the best rivalries in Orange County. San Clemente has won two of the last three meetings between the two teams, but both of those were at home and this one is at Mission Viejo. [player_tooltip player_id="25441" first="Kadin" last="Semonza"] was held dormant in the spring matchup and so was [player_tooltip player_id="25408" first="Mikey" last="Matthews"]. San Clemente’s defense is better than it was last season and its offense is finding its stride. Lachlan Van Rosmalen has become a dual threat quarterback and [player_tooltip player_id="168733" first="Brad" last="Gerken"] is a safety who flies around the field. It will be interesting to see if Tritons running back Blake Allen plays coming off an injury. Mission Viejo’s front seven is very good led by Daniel Dominguez and Jake Higgins. I don’t know if San Clemente will be able to match scores with Mission Viejo but this was a 10-7 game in the spring so I may be wildly wrong.
The pick: Mission Viejo

Servite vs. St. John Bosco
Analysis: This is a matchup between two of the top three teams in the state playing for second place in the Trinity League. Servite is coming off a grueling game against Mater Dei where they went toe-for-toe with the Monarchs. [player_tooltip player_id="25286" first="Noah" last="Fifita"] was outstanding in that game but was walking with a limp afterwards. [player_tooltip player_id="25227" first="Tetairoa" last="McMillan"] is impossible to match up with for Bosco’s defense. Bosco is coming off a nice win against Santa Margarita. [player_tooltip player_id="25233" first="Rayshon" last="Luke"] is hot and has scored eight touchdowns in his last three games. [player_tooltip player_id="25367" first="Pierce" last="Clarkson"] played great last week and [player_tooltip player_id="143115" first="Chedon" last="James"] has been able to get open easily. Bosco’s defense is fast with safety [player_tooltip player_id="25253" first="Sione" last="Hala"] and linebacker [player_tooltip player_id="25257" first="Jalen" last="Woods"]. The pass rush is very good with [player_tooltip player_id="25245" first="Nathan" last="Burrell"] and [player_tooltip player_id="25302" first="Jairus" last="Satele"]. It will be interesting to see how Bosco uses [player_tooltip player_id="25456" first="Matayo" last="Uiagalelei"] in this game.
The pick: Servite
