But what about the student-athletes who are grinding while flying under-the-radar? Today, we will be taking a look at the Class of 2023 running backs who have been stepping up for their teams. These prospects have been tearing it up this year and they could provide a lot for teams at the next level. These are certainly unheralded players, but now is the time for scouts to take note of what these four playmakers are doing.
Cheyenne Allen Cheyenne Allen 6'1" | 170 lbs | RB North Judson-San Pierre | 2023 State IN , 6’1, 170 pounds, North Judson-San Pierre
Cheyenne Allen Cheyenne Allen 6'1" | 170 lbs | RB North Judson-San Pierre | 2023 State IN is an all-around playmaker for North Judson-San Pierre. On top of being a great runner, Allen is a viable receiving option. When he gets the ball in his hands, Allen is a physical player who is very tough to bring down. Allen is great in space. When he gets to the edge he can turn the corner and create a big play. Allen has posted 555 rushing yards this year. He has found the end zone in the running game 9 times and he has an overall total of 18 TDS.

Cama’Jay Terrell Cama’Jay Terrell 5'8" | 165 lbs | RB Gary West Side | 2023 State IN plays with great vision and he has a knack for creating big plays. Terrell does an outstanding job of finding the hole and hitting it hard. Terrell is an excellent off-tackle runner. He is an explosive player who has already accounted for over 1,400 rushing yards this year. Terrell has 17 rushing touchdowns so far. Christian McDonald Christian McDonald 5'11" | 170 lbs | RB Owen Valley | 2023 State IN is a great downhill runner who runs with a great burst. Once McDonald gets going, the opposing defense is in trouble. He is very difficult to tackle. McDonald does well on both inside and off-tackle runs. On runs to the outside he is patient and he can stretch the ball to the edge. McDonald has already eclipsed the 1,000 rushing yard mark this season. He is a workhorse running back who has already chipped in an astounding 21 rushing touchdowns on the campaign.

Chris Graham Chris Graham 5'10" | 200 lbs | ATH Charlestown | 2023 State IN can best be defined as an athlete. The reason for that being that he is a do-it-all player in all three phases for Rock Creek. Offensively, he can create the spark plays needed. He is very quick and he has the ability to leave would-be tacklers chasing shadows. On the defensive side of the ball, he is a DB who is capable of handling tough assignments. On special teams, Graham is a dynamic kickoff returner who can set the team up in outstanding field positon- or take it to the house himself.
