#5 Kaden Nickel 5’7 173 24′ RB
Mr. Nickel is a patient runner, he waits for the running lanes to open up and once they do he bursts through the line of scrimmage. This young man is a hard runner that keeps his feet driving breaking arm tackles in the process and doesn’t go down easily. He’s a smaller back that stays low to the ground and has a solid lower base. This young man also has the ability to bounce plays outside to turn the corner with his quick acceleration, if he gets past the 2nd level of defenders he’s off to the races. Look at the game highlights above, there’s a play in there where he takes the handoff and blows past the 2nd level of defenders for a long TD run. One of a few he had on the night.
#41 Billy Jones 6’0 183 23′ LB
Mr. Jones fills holes in run support, funnels plays inside, and made a big play during this game giving Providence Catholic momentum in the game. In this play, he comes off the edge in a pass rush. He sinks his hips getting low paired with his quickness off the ball resulted in getting past the offensive tackle, almost getting a free shot on the opposing quarterback. As this happened, the opposing quarterback didn’t have any time to react as he was looking downfield to his left and the pressure was coming from his right. This resulted in Mr. Jones delivering a hard hit on the quarterback forcing a fumble on the play.
#2 Lucas Proudfoot 6’1 175 23′ QB Twitter
Mr. Proudfoot does a good job getting the ball out quickly when running RPOs and making the right reads when doing so. He’s able to put zip on the ball putting the ball in tight coverage and gets the ball out under pressure. His mobility comes to light in two areas, once being on QB design runs and when he pulls the ball down to scramble if nothing is open downfield. Both of which you get to see his ability to change gears and decision-making between deciding to scramble over forcing a throw downfield. Go take a look at some of this young man’s scrambling highlights below!

#6 Mason Santiago 6’1 190 23′ LB Twitter
Mr. Santiago fills holes in run support where he occasionally met the ball carrier at the line of scrimmage. This young man attacks downhill utilizing his closing speed to make open-field tackles and to cover sideline to sideline. In doing so, it put him in a position to blow up plays on more than one occasion (which he did). When he drops back into coverage, he stays with his man picking up anyone that comes into his zone and stays on their hip pocket to be in a position to make a play if the ball is thrown his way.
#56 Aidan Mack 6’4 260 22′ OL Twitter
Mr. Mack washes the defensive line down with his down block and keeping his feet driving, this creates a running lane for his teammate to run off of. He works up to the 2nd level blocks by first chipping the defensive tackle doubling up to the inside linebacker to make the block in open space. In pass protection, he’s able to hold his own one on one against the defensive end to keep the pocket clean and not allowing the inside rush.
