Greer’s Hollis Crosby had a strong game as the Yellow Jackets’ offense continued to improve. Crosby threw for 201 yards and two touchdowns in a win over Woodruff, and added 80 yards on the ground with another score.
Easley’s AJ Brown was another dual-threat QB who had a great Week 5. Brown led the Green Wave past Woodmont with 217 passing yards and a touchdown. He also contributed 105 yards on the ground, with two more scores.
Christ Church’s Grayson Klue Grayson Klue 5'11" | 175 lbs | RB Christ Church | 2022 State SC had a short, productive night in a win over Heathwood Hall. Klue rushed 12 times for 154 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the win.
Hillcrest’s 48-35 win over Wren produced a pair of game balls. The Rams’ Bennett Judy finished 22-of-28 for 295 yards for three touchdowns. Meanwhile, Wren’s Gavin Owens threw for 388 yards and a touchdown on 28-of-50 passing.
