This was a hard-fought battle between 5A teams. Here are some of the standouts.
Penn Hills – [player_tooltip player_id="98220" first="Julian" last="Dugger"] (SOPH) Quarterback 6’3 180: Dugger still struggled as a passer, he did throw for a touchdown on a screen pass. The running game was in effect for the most part. He had the go-ahead QB sneak TD late first quarter to make it 14-7.
Woodland Hills – [player_tooltip player_id="69213" first="Eris" last="Seibles"] (SR) Running Back 5’10 176: On the second play from scrimmage Seibles scored a 59-yard touchdown run. Seibles has good vision with quickness and speed. He is an underrated RB, surprised he’s not on anyone’s radar.
Woodland Hills – [player_tooltip player_id="27685" first="Deontae" last="Williams"] (SR) QB/SAF: Williams was kept in check as a passer but had a rushing TD with about five minutes left in the game, but a missed field goal was costly that would have tied the game at 14.
Woodland Hills – [player_tooltip player_id="98215" first="Brandon" last="Jones"] (SOPH) Running Back 5’7 175: Jones played a major factor in Woodland Hills’ drive to set up the TD that should have tied the game, he had 2 big runs. Jones is quick with speed and shifty.
Woodland Hills – Cruz McMillan (SR) Defensive End 6’4: McMillan had 2 sacks and a few tackles. He is a tall lengthy kid. Lacks hand use and bend. He’s got good speed and change of direction. I think McMillan is a D2/D3 guy and can be a good player if coached up more.
