Along with several Friday night games, we even have a Saturday morning affair we will highlight this week.

Gilbert will be led by running back Jaden Allen-Hendrix and QB Chance Jennings. Allen-Hendrix had 121 yards and two touchdowns against Aiken last week. Jennings was 10-of-16 for 136 yards and three scores. Lexington has had a week off but will lean on Rhett Peeples and Grady Johnson to try and slow the Indians attack. They play at 10 am on Saturday.

Irmo has transfer Izayah Whiteside at quarterback and South Carolina commitment Nick Emmanwori at safety/outside linebacker.
Brookland-Cayce at Blythewood – Brookland-Cayce is a third team starting its season this week. The Bearcats will lean heavily on quarterback Tanner Stanton. Blythewood is looking to go 3-0 for the first time since 2007. Running back Desmond Boatwright is coming off a two-touchdown, 125-yard performance last week in a win over Goose Creek. Linebacker Myles Cotton helped limit the Gatos to a total of eight yards rushing.
Other top games include Chester at Airport, Porter-Gaud at Hammond and Camden at Hartsville.
