Jonah Bowman Jonah Bowman 6'2" | 220 lbs | LB Rock Hill | 2024 State TX , 6’2″, 215, Rock Hill
Good size to go with a wealth of strength. Bowman can evade blocks within the box using his quickness or a durable punch. He’s sharp at diagnosing the run and will speed his feet once initial contact has been made. The lateral movement skills are there, as is the pure effort you look for in a Mike linebacker prospect. He’s still developing, but I think he’s only going to get better as the weeks go on with more in-game reps.
Tyler Cooks, 6’, 200, Manvel
On tape, Cooks displayed outstanding acceleration along with terrific body control. He understands the importance of taking good angles to the ball and can clean up for other player’s mistakes. Tyler comes to balance to make tackles in space and uses the sideline as a weapon. Cooks understands leverage and has become proficient at the gator roll tackle. This young man flies to the football and is a tackle machine right now as just a sophomore.
Landyn Cleveland, 6’, 185, Mansfield Legacy
A twitchy outside linebacker prospect that is fantastic rushing off the edge. Cleveland shows loose hips in zone coverage and good wheels to close ground after the catch. If you leave him unblocked, he’s an absolute nightmare and will cause serious penetration in the opposing backfield. He has enough raw strength to fight off blocks in the run game and has the capability to disengage quickly.
Hudson Lunsford, 6’, 205, Prestonwood Christian
On film, Lunsford showed a quick trigger and solid instincts. If he can’t get to the quarterback, he promptly gets his hands up in an effort to bat the ball down at the line of scrimmage. Hudson runs through tackles like a missile, not looking to slow down at any point. He’s a fluid blitzer off the edge who can create a mismatch on opposing tackles in pass protection. I think he’s a projects as a Will linebacker at the next level.
Elizjah Richardson, 6’1″, 210, Brewer
You can’t deny the burst and closing speed of Mr. Richardson. This young man is beyond physical at the point of attack and looks to meet running backs head-on in the hole. He plays with a low pad level and rolls his hips once contact has been made. He’s patient in reading his keys and is a tough man to block 1 on 1 inside the box.
