Pickerington Central vs North Allegheny Offensive Game Report

North Allegheny from Western PA traveled to Central Ohio on Friday night to take on State number 1 Pickerington Central. The Tigers of Pick Central continued their undefeated season beating NA 35-0. Pickerington Offensive Standouts #5 [player_tooltip player_id="173935" first="Braden" last="Mantooth"] QB (2023) - No surprise here on Braden. He had a standout performance again last night completing 10-12 passes for 123 and pair of TD’s. He is tall, athletic, and has a big time arm. Can sling it all over the field and makes the tough throws look easy. Accuracy is his best attribute and he does a great job of throwing receivers open. Equally as skilled at running the football with good twitch in the open field. #8 [player_tooltip player_id="182769" first="Olando" last="Kamara"] RB (2022) Olando had another solid performance last night rushing for 109 on 24 carries. He runs behind his pads and always falls forward. He is great at wiggling tackles in the open field. Blocks well in the pass game. Is always a threat to score when he has the ball. #10 Kasey Middendorf WR (2023) - This junior showed that the 2023 class at Pick Central is strong as well. He had 5 receptions for 53 yards and was the main target for Mantooth. He runs good routes and separates when called upon. Kasey is good in the open field at breaking tackles. He attacks the ball and bursts. Good blocker on the perimeter and has a good motor. North Allegheny #13 Logan Kushner QB (2024) - This sophomore faced a tough test last night and performed well. He was 6-11 for 66yds against one of the best DL's in Ohio. Athletic player with a good arm and accuracy. He has good open field wiggle and makes people miss when called upon. He has command of the offense and plays with a chip on his shoulder. #42 JR Burton RB (2022) - The senior is a very good football player to the tune of 7 carries for 29 yards. He is a good athlete who does a great job in between the tackles and outside. He has good vision with tremendous burst. I was impressed with his ability to hit the edge and go. Blocks well in the pass game. #9 Dwayne Taylor WR (2022) - This senior is a tall target. Had 5 catches and 53 yards last night. He was the main target for Kushner. Runs great routes and attacks the ball in the air. He has the ability to run by defenders as well as sit in the zone. He is a good blocker on the perimeter and makes his presence felt.
