New Jersey Class of 2022 Rankings Update: Top Newcomers

Prep Redzone looks at the new additions to the New Jersey Class of 2022 prospect list. The last update came in May. Since that time, over a dozen new athletes have been identified as top prospects and have been added to the list. A good majority of these players saw their recruitment pick up during the offseason. Prep Redzone will be keeping our eyes on them and other prospects that we can add to the list at the midway point of the season. <strong>TOP NEWCOMERS</strong> No. 23 [player_tooltip player_id="180830" first="Kyle" last="Louis"]/6-0/195/LB/East Orange Louis enters the rankings for the first time as the No. 2 linebacker in the state. He committed to Temple on Jun. 26. Louis had over eight offers at the time of his commitment. No. 36 [player_tooltip player_id="192583" first="David" last="Siegel"]/6-6/260/OL/Hun School Siegel is the No. 8 offensive linemen in the state. His recruitment had picked up during the latter part of spring and he ended up committing to Vanderbilt on Jun. 28. At the time of his commitment, Siegel was sitting on over 12 offers. No. 41 [player_tooltip player_id="173614" first="Mahki" last="Green"]/WR/West Orange Green committed to Temple on Jun. 27. No. 42 [player_tooltip player_id="191029" first="Ty" last="Bartrum"]/6-1/195/WR/Cherokee Bartrum is getting a lot of interest at the mid-major level. His offers include Air Force, Army, Bowling Green, and Toledo. No. 43 [player_tooltip player_id="191011" first="Edward" last="Conoran"]/6-0/190/DB/DePaul Conoran committed to Central Michigan on Jun. 10. No. 49 [player_tooltip player_id="184164" first="Jaden" last="Wedderburn"]/6-4/290/OL/Peddie School No. 50 [player_tooltip player_id="191038" first="Jake" last="Bingham"]/6-2/300/OL/Hun School No. 51 [player_tooltip player_id="191039" first="Steven" last="Demboski"]/6-4/270/OL/Pascack Hills Demboski committed to Delaware on Aug. 25. He had several other offers from FCS schools such as Bryant, Colgate, Dartmouth, and Fordham. No. 52 [player_tooltip player_id="28047" first="CJ" last="Resto"]/5-10/LB/Cedar Creek No. 54 [player_tooltip player_id="27997" first="Charlie" last="Barth"]/5-11/RB/New Providence No. 61 [player_tooltip player_id="191040" first="Logan" last="Rager"]/6-0/205/OL/Bergen Catholic No. 62 [player_tooltip player_id="191041" first="Greyson" last="Brockriede"]/6-3/295/OL/Hun School No. 65 [player_tooltip player_id="191280" first="Jack" last="Latore"]/6-4/240/Middletown South Latore is an intriguing prospect. He has a ton of FCS offers and has one FBS offer (Army). His other 15-plus offers include Fordham, Georgetown, Lafayette, Penn, Monmouth, and Princeton. A solid start to his 2021 senior year may land him another FBS offer. No. 65 [player_tooltip player_id="191277" first="Brady" last="Small"]/6-1/300/DL/Ramsey Small is another prospect on this list that received offers from both mid-major FBS schools and FCS schools. He committed to Army on Aug. 1. No. 66 [player_tooltip player_id="191278" first="Claudy" last="Robinson"]/6-1/310/DL/Don Bosco Prep Robinson committed to Fordham on Jul. 3. His other offers included Air Force, Army, Georgetown, and Lehigh. No. 67 [player_tooltip player_id="191279" first="Bryce" last="Rooks"]/6-1/285/DL/St. Peter’s Prep No. 68 [player_tooltip player_id="190953" first="Andre" last="McKinney"]/5-8/160/WR/Peddie School McKinney Is a transfer from the West Coast. He isn't the biggest but he is among the fastest players on this list. We'll see how he fares during the first half of the season before possibly moving him up in the rankings. No. 69 [player_tooltip player_id="191282" first="Chuck" last="Nnaeto"]/6-1/280/DL/Delbarton Nnaeto is a prospect who has a great chance of rising in these ranking before it's all said and done. He currently has offers from Army, UMass, and ODU. No. 71 [player_tooltip player_id="191281" first="Elijah" last="Wilson"]/6-3/325/DL/Hudson Catholic Wilson is currently committed to Delaware State.
