Austin Stephenson – Woodlan – WR – 5’8″ 175 lbs
Stephenson was a man on a mission Friday. He never went down on first contact and defenders were literally bouncing off of him. He caught a pass over the middle, got lit up but the defender is the one who went down. Stephenson managed to stay up and pick up another 20-yards. He’s got fantastic contact balance and Friday was a display of that. He scored twice and on one of his scores, he made a fantastic grab towards the back of the endzone.
Sir Hale – Bishop Luers – RB – 5’7″ 165 lbs
It’s been a few weeks since Hale was on here but he had a big game Friday. Bishop Luers force-fed Hale on Friday and he never got tired or slowed down. He continues to be the fastest and most explosive player on the field. On one run he shot through the hole, bounced it to the outside, and turned on the jets for a score. When he gets hot that Bishop Luers offense is hard to stop. He had a few receptions as well and broke 3 tackles on 1 play after catching the ball over the middle.
Jeff Becker Jeff Becker 6'0" | 195 lbs | QB Carroll | 2022 State IN – Carroll – QB – 6’0″ 193 lbs
Becker put on another clinic on Friday. He started the night off by dropping a ball into a bucket 60-yards down the field. Carroll likes to get him in a rhythm early by letting him take a few shots and go for some chunk plays. He continues to impress with his arm strength and accuracy. He threw 4 TDs on Friday and they ranged from 15 to 65-yards. I’m unsure if the last time he was on this list the announcement was out, but Becker has recently hard committed to South Dakota State.
Langston Leavell – Snider – RB – 6’2″ 200 lbs
A lot of times when Snider gets rolling on the ground it’s Brown who feasts but Friday Leavell was the one hitting paydirt. Leavell is a big and strong back and once he gets full speed he is really hard to bring down. On one of his TD runs, he literally carried a defender who was holding onto his legs into the endzone. It was humorous but it showed how strong his lower body is. Snider has an elite 1-2 punch and Friday it was on full display.
Kj Tippmann – Bishop Dwenger – RB/MLB – 6’1″ 205 lbs
Tippman got going early on Friday and he stayed hot throughout the entire game. He was fast and decisive with his cuts. He’s a fantastic athlete and is well built. He’s got soft hands and is able to make just about any catch that comes his way. He had 121 rushing yards on the night and added a few scores with that. He was able to make a guy miss and run over the other defender to get into the endzone.
