Westerville North vs Central Offensive Game Report

The new look Central Wildcats held off a late rally from North under the lights Friday in Westerville and got the win 14-7.  Hot and steamy conditions were present the entire game with an electric crowd hungry for their first in person action since 2019. <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Westerville Central Top Performers</strong></span> #3 <strong>Nasier Tribune</strong> RB - This <strong>2023</strong> carried the load for the Warhawks last night.  Patient runner with good vision and burst in between the tackles.  He runs behind his pads and carries the ball high and tight.  Athletic with good twitch in the open field.  Developing his speed and second level escapability.  Good complement to [player_tooltip player_id="91581" first="Michael" last="Ross"]. HUDL: <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/13795113/Nasier-Tribune">https://www.hudl.com/profile/13795113/Nasier-Tribune</a> #84 <strong>Sidney Thompson</strong> WR - This <strong>2023</strong> had a monster game.  He is all over the stat sheet and caught a 20 yard touchdown for the go ahead.  Sidney is tall and athletic with great hands.  Runs precise routes and has the ability to take the top off the defense.  I was really impressed with his ability to go up and get the ball.  Even with a new QB under center making his first start, he was able to catch everything thrown his way. HUDL: <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/12910159/Chris-Campbell">https://www.hudl.com/profile/12910159/Chris-Campbell</a> #10 <strong>Stanley Jackson</strong> FB - This <strong>2022</strong> transferred in from Central and is the son of former Ohio State QB Stanly Jackson.  His frame is powerful and he runs behind his pads.  Allowed the North offense to adequately execute a power running game last night.  Has great burst in between the tackles and grinds out the tough yards.  Good blocker in the pass game.
