The crop of 2023 offensive linemen could be the best we have ever had in the state of Tennessee and they still have two years of high school ball left, so the upside is there to see this group grow deeper! As we get back into the #PRZTN 2023 Top 100, we breakdown the guys from the offensive line and how they stack up in our rankings. ‘23 (OL) [player_tooltip player_id="102315" first="Brycen" last="Sanders"] (6'6 280) - Baylor School (OL Rank: 1 State Rank: 5) - This Red Raiders O-lineman is viewed as the top guy at his position headed into the 2021 season based upon his size, smarts and position versatility. Sanders also sports a nice body frame that can continue to be molded and added to. He is a highly intelligent young man both on and off the field that is already marked by Power Five schools as a must need for their 2023 recruiting classes. Offers: Auburn, Eastern Ky, Georgia, Ga Tech, Kentucky, Louisville, Miami OH, Ole Miss, Stanford, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Va Tech Soph. Film: https://www.hudl.com/video/3/13014673/5f8f01f5d45e360ff45e9c25 ‘23 (OL) [player_tooltip player_id="102358" first="Lance" last="Williams"] (6'4 300) - Alcoa (OL Rank: 2 State Rank: 10) - Williams has been on the recruiting radar for multiple seasons now and his stock continues to grow as the best offensive guard prospect from the in-state 2023 class. A strong, powerful people mover, Williams is a gritty, physical mauler that could play tackle if needed. He is also a leader that never takes a play off and he is versatile, so he brings a lot of value to the offensive line. Offers: Eastern Ky, Ga Tech, Kentucky, Jacksonville St., South Carolina, Tulane, Virginia, Va Tech, West Virginia Soph. His game translates best inside at guard but Jeffries could be plugged in at right tackle and handle himself just fine. The Tornadoes junior lineman must continue developing his athleticism but Jeffries is a rock solid prospect for the Power Five, D1 level. Offers: Florida St., Ga Tech, Miami, Mississippi St., Oregon, Va Tech, West Virginia Soph. Film: https://www.hudl.com/video/3/14979341/5f8320397bdd950bc4ad6ec0 ‘23 (OL) [player_tooltip player_id="102185" first="Luke" last="Brown"] (6'6 300) - Henry Co. (OL Rank: 4 State Rank: 13) - Already targeted as a Power Five prospect, Brown established himself this offseason as one of the top O-line prospects from the ‘23 class and he is far from a finished product. The Patriots rising junior is a big man that is still maturing with his body, so his best days of football will be in college. Brown is another versatile guy that can play tackle or guard on the next level. Offers: Auburn, Florida St., Georgia, Ga Tech, Indiana, Louisville, Memphis, Miami OH, Michigan St., MTSU, Ole Miss, Tennessee, UCF, Vanderbilt, Va Tech, Virginia Soph. The East Tennessee O-lineman hit up just about every camp he could and showed why he could be considered one of the best center prospects in the country. Sturdy, strong and smart, Grubbs is a technique sound prospect with great size and the work ethic and leadership you want on the field and in your locker room. Offers: Eastern Ky, Ole Miss, Tennessee Tech Soph. Film: https://www.hudl.com/video/3/7934666/5f543a77e97a1600e44f04d1 ‘23 (OL) [player_tooltip player_id="102206" first="Joe" last="Crocker"] (6'7 305) - Franklin Road Acad. (OL Rank: 6 State Rank: 18) - Crocker is a massive human being that can move and he is still an unpolished product with his best playing days ahead of him. Well trained and versatile, Crocker mans the tackle position for his Panthers team and he could stay there in college but easily slide inside and dominate. Crocker is a Power Five level talent that should his stock continue to rise during and after his junior season. Offers: Eastern Ky, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan, Mississippi St., Ole Miss, Tennessee, Tulane, Virginia, Va Tech Soph. Juliet (OL Rank: 7 State Rank: 22) - Bussell is a potential filled prospect that has tremendous upside and the tools to develop into a potential college starter and eventual star. The Golden Bears junior tackle has no bad weight, so he has a frame that can be molded in the right way. He is also versatile to where he could play tackle or guard on the next level. More learning and body development must be done but Bussell is an exciting prospect with a high ceiling. Offers: Eastern Ky, Kentucky, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Va Tech Soph. The Mustangs mauler is a violent blocker with lower body mobility that can play a variety of roles on the O-line. The ‘23 class of lineman on offense is deep and Needham is a big part of that depth but he is every bit as talented as some listed above. Offers: Eastern Ky Soph. Film: https://www.hudl.com/video/3/12733065/5f83c75af31c770ff44e72bb ‘23 (OL) [player_tooltip player_id="102352" first="Joshua" last="Wade"] (6'4 300) - King's Acad. (OL Rank: 9 State Rank: 36) - This Lions returning lineman is one of the strongest of all in the trenches and a guy that can play inside, out with a bevy of skills and traits. Wade has powerful hands along with a good lower body mobility to maintain with his pass blocking. He is a versatile lineman that can play tackle but his upside suits best inside at guard. Look for Wade to add to his offer sheet as the next few months roll along. Offers: Eastern Ky, Kentucky Soph. Film: https://www.hudl.com/video/3/14299151/5f4e6593bed83f0954d8dc3c ‘23 (OL) [player_tooltip player_id="102331" first="Misan" last="Sisk"] (6'6 290) - M.A.H.S. (OL Rank: 10 State Rank: 43) - Many outside the city of Memphis may not know about Sisk but after the coming season, scouts and coaches definitely should. Sisk is a big dude with mobile feet and a frame that can take on more weight. He is another guy that has the traits to stay outside at tackle or slide inside to guard. Sisk is one of the better athletes from the ‘23 crop and hopefully after a big junior year, coaches begin to notice his talents and upside. Offers: None * No Sophomore Film * ‘23 (OL) [player_tooltip player_id="102175" first="Tyler" last="Bell"] (6'4 300) - Lausanne (OL Rank: 11 State Rank: 45) - Bell could be one of the biggest risers in the #PRZTN rankings and nationally by the end of the upcoming season. The Lynx powerful O-Lineman burst on the scene this summer at camps where he showed his physical size and developing athleticism as well as his ability to dominate his opponent. Bell shows the upside to stay at tackle but can definitely slide inside to guard and perform at a very high level. Offers: Eastern Ky, Soph. Film: https://www.hudl.com/video/3/13028744/5ffcef9519a5050c4811e895 ‘23 (OL) [player_tooltip player_id="102231" first="Eli" last="Freeman"] (6'5 290) - Lebanon (OL Rank: 12 State Rank: 49) - There are big expectations headed into the Fall season for Freeman as he is the best O-lineman to come through Lebanon in a long while. Already sporting college size, Freeman is a hard working technician that can play tackle or guard and yet still has a ways to go. The Blue Devils junior lineman is still developing his body and overall game but Freeman is a good athlete for his size that will one day be playing college ball. Offers: None Soph. The Saints rising junior plays withl nice balance and is one of the more explosive interior linemen we have in this class. He does need to add more weight, power but Bledsoe has the tools to reach the collegiate level. Offers: None Soph. The Cherokees developmental lineman shows upside and potential as a possible right tackle or guard on the next level, especially if he adds more weight and continues to develop his game. This coming season will be big for his college recruitment. Offers: None Soph. Jernigan plays a physical brand of football that translates well. He sports a mobile lower body and a frame that can take on a lot of weight. The Pioneers stud lineman has a bright future ahead of him, if he continues to work and grow into his body. Offers: None Soph. The Fighting Irish interior mauler is versatile and smart. Lively could manage all three interior O-line positions and do so at a high level. Headed into the 2021 season, Hatton is a young developmental guy that needs to improve his body but he already fits the style of a road grading run blocker at guard. His stock will only grow as he develops his athleticism and football knowledge. Offers: None * No Sophomore Film *
