South Dakota Preseason All-State Team: 11AAA

SOUTH DAKOTA-- With practices in full swing starting this week in South Dakota we figured there is not a better time to take a look at our inaugural Preseason All-State Teams. We kick it off in South Dakota’s largest division, 11AAA. 11AAA may only have nine teams but holy moly this division is stacked from top to bottom. We identified 69 prospects in 11AAA that were rated as the "best of the best" in 11AAA. How We Put it Together All we watch is tape, no matter what. Those prospects that had a significant amount of varsity snaps in 2021 got an added bonus but we also made some fun projections with those prospects that are becoming varsity starters this upcoming season. We didn’t look at the offer sheets and with most, we shaded outside of looking at our rankings to instead find the best man available and found prospects that caught our eyes, even more, when we looked at the tape because why? The tape never lies. We had very few prospects that cracked more than one position on our Preseason All-State Team and if they did, they just proved how athletic they are at multiple positions. He is already receiving interest from a couple of Power 5 schools, as this is a young man you will want to watch closely on the Lynx offensive line in the 2021 season and beyond as he already has been a standout in the reps I watched last season in the state championship game vs. Harrisburg. Once he gets his football film out there, there is not a doubt in my mind this young man will be a lock as a first-team prospect for several years to come as he is the youngest prospect on this list with such a high ceiling.
