This comes after Westlake won its second consecutive state championship and Klubnik threw for 3,495 passing yards, 35 passing touchdowns with just three interceptions.
Klubnik also rushed for 583 yards and 15 touchdowns.
He was also named Offensive Player of the Year by USA Today, adding to his growing list of accolades.
This should come as no surprise to anyone paying attention to Texas high school football. Klubnik is such an elite player, makes every correct decision on and off the field and has a bright future ahead of him which could remind some of a young Drew Brees, who also played for Westlake and went on to become an NFL legend playing quarterback for the New Orleans Saints and winning a Super Bowl.
Klubnik should also be considered as one of the best in the nation and considering he committed to Clemson back in March, he is in good hands to develop his future.
Judging by his tape, which speaks for itself, Klubnik has a laser of an arm, fast feet that can turn on the jets on draws and option plays and deep ball accuracy that would make Patrick Mahomes turn his head. Klubnik is about as perfect as a quarterback can be playing high school ball and he will be exciting to watch this upcoming season as Westlake looks to earn another state championship.
