Shawn Collins – Wayne – RB – 5’10″ 187 lbs
Collins looked great on Friday. He was able to convert key 3rd downs and move the chains. There was one run where he hit the hole and it looked like he was down. All of a sudden he came out of the left side of the hole and took off down the sideline. He kept his legs churning anytime he hit the pile and was able to convert those tough yards.
Lamarion Nelson – Wayne – RB – 5’10″ 210 lbs
Donahue was used as a change of pace back Friday and he thrived. He’s not the fasted guy nor is he the best athlete but he’s a fantastic football player. He does what you need him to do and puts his head down and just does the job. He busted a big run Friday and it was because he did his job. He hit the hole and ran through a guy, held onto the ball with 2 hands, and just took off. He ran as fast as he could but got run down after 51-yards. He later got a 1-yard touchdown run.
Sir Hale – Bishop Luers – RB – 5’7″ 190 lbs
Hale was practically unstoppable on Friday. He ran all over Wayne and had 3 touchdowns. He also had well over 100 rushing yards and they fed him the entire game. He was making guys miss and running through the ones that didn’t miss. He’s a decent athlete and it showed on Friday. He had a great week and with a few more weeks like that, the college offers could easily start coming in. He’s a senior and would like to find the right program for what he does best.
Carson Clark Carson Clark 6'2" | 185 lbs | QB Bishop Luers | 2022 State IN – Bishop Luers – QB – 6’2″ 180 lbs
Clark was on fire as well Friday. He was able to stand over the line and deliver strikes left and right. He was confident in his decision making and the throws followed. He isn’t the greatest athlete but on Friday, he was able to extend a few plays. Some of those plays he rolled out to his right and threw some great balls. Clark is a decent quarterback and is best when he’s able to sit back and just deliver strikes.
Aden Dennis – Bishop Luers – RB/DE – 5’10″ 195 lbs
Dennis plays both ways for the Knights and looked good again on Friday. He caught a ball out of the backfield, made a guy miss, and went right up the seem and got into the endzone. He was rotated in behind Hale and was moving the chains when he was called on. They trusted him in pass protection and in the passing game and he excelled. Dennis was a key role guy for Bishop Luers Friday and had a great game.
