MATHEW ANDERSON CB 5’10” 165lbs KELLER HS
Anderson is an in your face man Corner. Completely blankets opposing recievers and fights for the ball in the air not allowing too many completions. His willingness to tackle and get through WR blocks to meet the ball carrier is what you want in a corner. If he gets unnoticed he could be a gem.
ANTHONY CRENSHAW JR. FS/CB 5’11” 180lbs ARLINGTON HS
Crenshaw plays alot of off man coverage, Better than anyone I’ve seen at this level. With great technique and athleticism,Crenshaw is able to run recievers routes for them, putting him in good position to break up tons of passes. A true play maker at the defensive back position he is able to play safety as well as cornerback. Judging by his film I would say he enjoys tackling just as much as he does locking up recievers. Corner or safety, I think any DC would be happy to have Anthony Crenshaw on their team.
IRVING LOPEZ SS 5’10” 185lbs FORT WORTH NORTHSIDE HIGH SCHOOL
Irving Lopez is a big time hitter! Lopez takes great angles and will punish ball carriers that are unfortunate enough to come his way. His instincts on pass plays puts him in the right place to grab tipped passes. Run support is Irvings specialty, cutting through blocks to get to ball carriers in a hurry and blasting them to the ground with intensity.
STEPHEN NNADOZIE CB 6’1″ 170lbs KELLER FOSSIL RIDGE
I’ve never seen a guy hit the extra gear and break on the ball like Nnadozie. He will make a reciever appear to be completely wide open…. Until the ball is in the air, then sure enough Nnadozie is the to bat the pass down or grab it out of the air. And watch out because Stephen Nnadozie has the speed to run it all the way back. He trusts his athleticism and if I were a DC, so would I.
JACKSON STEORMANN SS 5’10” 170lbs NORTHWEST HIGH SCHOOL
Steormann seems to routinely swat away passes. Whether manned up on a tight end or while rushing the passer, steormann is able to deflect anything in his direction. Basically if the play goes his way, dont expect a completion. On run plays he is such a technical tackler that you have no concern with him 1 on 1 with any ball carrier. You can keep Steormann in the box and let him blitz the passer, he has bend off the edge that makes him in the Quaterbacks face in a hurry.
COOPER CROWELL SS 5’8″ 160lbs FRISCO INDEPENDENCE
Cooper Crowell is definitely a player you want at safety. I am yet to see anyone behind Cooper. He won’t give up big plays in the passing game or rushing. Always seems to be the guy making a big hit or chase down tackle to save the touchdown for his defense. He is a high motor player that is not going to give up. That’s definitely someone youd want to have around.
NIKKO MORRIS FS,CB 6’2″ 180lbs NOLAN CATHOLICS
Nikko Morris is a lockdown man corner. From what I have seen Quaterbacks dont throw his way too often. Great technique with cutting off recievers , forcing his man out of the play. At safety Morris is able to roam around and disrupt as many plays as possible. In deep cover 1, he puts himself in great position to do just that.
AIDEN SPIRES CB 5’11” 170lbs ARLINGTON HEIGHTS
Spires is about athletic as it gets. Blankets recievers with great speed that also allows him the return kicks. Attacks the ball in the air at its highest point, his time at WR really shows with tremendous catches. A nickle corner role would put Spires in a good position to make plays on the ball on any snap. Spires makes aggressive tackles on ball carriers willing to run his direction. Spires is a smart player on the field and can make crucial turnovers in big moments.
