This list has no order. Every single one of these prospects I would have no problem starting. After some well spent time watching film I have compiled a list of Quaterbacks in the North Texas area to watch out for in the 2021 season.
LOGAN CUNDIFF - 6’1" 165lbs
Logan Cundiff is the New varsity QB for Keller Fossil Ridge in Fort Worth Texas. With only being a sophomore Cundiff really impresses with his ability to not panic and keep his eyes down field when needed to escape the pocket to find his open man. While also being able to outrun defenders on designed QB run plays, Cundiff is seeming like the guy youd want leading your team as he takes pride in doing so.
[player_tooltip player_id="60842" first="Jake" last="Strong"] - 6’2" 187lbs
[player_tooltip player_id="60842" first="Jake" last="Strong"] is entering his senior season at North West high school. The maturity that comes with being a senior Quaterback gives him a great processor when stepping back in the pocket. Jake is a quick decision maker and can get the ball to his reciever with urgency. With Good agility and speed when leaving the pocket, Jake is shaping up to be quite the prospect.
AUSTIN JINKERSON - 6’2" 205lbs
Jinkerson is an interesting prospect to watch out of Granbury high school. He shows great escaping capabilities, giving plays 2nd chances by shaking pass rushers off him while scrambling. Jinkerson’s willingness to buy time under pressure let’s his recievers routes develop to where they need to be.
CEDRIC HARDEN Jr. - 6’2" 180lbs
Cedric Harden of Cedar hill is a big play waiting to happen. Looking as if he has mastered the zone- read, Harden is able to get big yardage just by fooling the defense on a fake handoff. This really helps with play action passes. When dropping back he shows good patience and goes through his progressions like youd want.
TOM VON GROTE - 6’2" 180lbs
Tom Von Grote is an impressive passer from Byron Nelson High School. With throws that look like they’ve been shot out of a cannon, he launches the ball directly to his recievers. With most of his production coming on deep routes I’m looking for Von Grote to make a big name for himself.
JEREMIAH BLEDSOE - 6’2" 190lbs
Nolan Catholics Jeremiah Bledsoe is a solid QB looking to do big things this season. With excellent arm strength and field awareness Jeremiah is able to get his team down the field regularly. Utilizes pump fakes effectively. Has the willingness to step in the pocket and take the big hit in exchange for big completions.
JACK HURLEY - 6’5" 210lbs
Jack Hurley of Arlington Heights is a great combination of Size and arm talent. With Tremendous accuracy, he can drop a deep corner route right in the bread basket. Jack has the height you are looking for at the position, being able to see over his lineman to make the proper throw.
