7 Breakout Defensive Backs : Class of 2022

Ball skills, fluid hips, recovery speed, and true man on man coverage. Below are 7 DB's that will make a big impact on the defensive side of the ball from day one. He earned this award by displaying his above average athleticism on the football field and in lacrosse. Josh helped lead the comets to the state championship game in lacrosse and lead the team in tackles from his cornerback position on the football field. Josh is a very twitchy DB, short distance quickness and make up speed is impressive. I had the opportunity to watch Durrell perform at the N.U.C (National Underclassmen Combine) Beasts of the East 7on7 Tournament in Delaware during this cancelled season. He played on Dream Chasers Elite out of MD, who he helped win a championship in Tampa, FL at Championship 7v7 Tampa. At first glance Durrell passes the eye test, great size for a DB at the D1 level. Very discipline and sticks to his assignment, and is physical in coverage. He plays through the end of the whistle jarring the ball lose if the receiver has an opportunity to catch the ball.
