The updated release of the player rankings went live yesterday. There are 53 players included in the updated player rankings. Several players had impressive performances during the Spring Season. I am going to cover six players who standout amongst the Class of 2024:
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="115725" first="Jack" last="Larsen"], TE, 6’3" 220, Charlotte Catholic HS</strong>. Jack displayed good technique and blocks well on the non-passing plays. [player_tooltip player_id="115725" first="Jack" last="Larsen"] uses his body to shield defenders to make the catch. He runs well in the open field, accelerating pass defenders to make the catch and gain big yardage. Jack is the top-ranked tight end in the class.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="121677" first="Jaden" last="Pierce"], DL, 6’2" 310, Shelby HS</strong>. Jaden is run-stopper who displays good use of his hands along with upper-body strength to control the blocker. [player_tooltip player_id="121677" first="Jaden" last="Pierce"] displays good technique to shed the blocker to stop the stop the ball carrier. He moves quickly in small spaces to disrupt the play. Jaden is the top-ranked defensive lineman in the class.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="147623" first="Channing" last="Goodwin"], WR, 6’1" 170, Providence Day HS</strong>. Channing runs good pass routes and displays the ability to separate from the defender to make the catch. [player_tooltip player_id="147623" first="Channing" last="Goodwin"] displays good hands while making catches in traffic. He accelerates quickly past defenders in the open field after making the catch for big gains. Channing is the top-ranked wide receiver in the class.
<strong>Anthony Quinn Jr. RB, 5’11" 185, Seventy First HS</strong>. Anthony started as a freshman and rushed for 749 yards in six games during the Spring Season. He is off to a great start as he rushed for 196 yards on 11 carries in the season opener. Anthony Quinn Jr. displays good vision and agility as he runs between the tackles and accelerates past defenders in the open field. Anthony is the top-ranked running back in the class.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="147683" first="Tyler" last="Green"], QB, 6’2" 180, Cabarrus Warriors</strong>. Tyler started as a freshman where he had 1,595 passing yards, 12 TD passes, 5 interceptions, and a .536 pass completion percentage. [player_tooltip player_id="147683" first="Tyler" last="Green"] was listed in the Top 10 2024 QB Nationally in passing yards/pass completion percentage in yards per game. He has a strong arm and is an accurate passer out of the pocket. Tyler is the top-ranked quarterback in the class.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="120038" first="Tyler" last="Clark"], OL, 6’2" 240, CE Jordan HS</strong>. Tyler displays good technique and footwork while making contact with defenders. He displays the strength to control the defender once contact is made. [player_tooltip player_id="120038" first="Tyler" last="Clark"] moves well and does a good job moving the defender beyond the line of scrimmage. [player_tooltip player_id="120038" first="Tyler" last="Clark"] started as freshman and earned All-Conference honors. Tyler is the top-ranked offensive lineman in the class.
