Stearns is a 6-foot-4, 200-pound outside linebacker and is one of the better edge rushers in Southern California. He has impressed scouts on the camp circuit and had a nice spring seasons for St. Augustine.
He visited his final two schools San Diego State and San Jose State and chose the Spartans after coach Brent Brennan offered him a scholarship in the middle of his workout during his visit. The opportunity to play early also gave San Jose State an edge over San Diego State according to an interview Stearns did with 247Sports.
At this time I have decided to further my academic and football journey at San Jose State University. I would like to thank my family, coaches, and friends for all there support#Spartanup🔵🟡 @SanJoseStateFB @CoachBrennan @CoachO_SJSU @joekremer95 @BrandonHuffman @GregBiggins pic.twitter.com/OoPeZA3mHq

Lompoc defensive back Deville Dickerson Deville Dickerson 5'10" | 165 lbs | DB Lompoc | 2022 State CA announced his commitment to Idaho State on Wednesday.
Dickerson, or “Djoker” is a solid cover corner but also a very good punt returner. As a corner, he excels in man and zone coverage. He does a good job deflecting passes on jump balls and is a very physical corner.
He is on the smaller side at 5-foot-10 and 170 pounds, but plays physical like a bigger corner. He doesn’t have track level speed but when he gets into the open field he can turn on the jets.
Dickerson chose Idaho State over San Diego and William & Mary.

Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks) quarterback Javance Tupouata-Johnson Javance Tupouata-Johnson 6'4" | 200 lbs | QB Chaminade | 2023 State CA took his official visit to BYU this past week and enjoyed it so much that he scheduled another.
He has been compared to Cam Newton and has a 6-foot-4, 200-pound frame. He is a pro-style quarterback with a big arm who is a little raw, but learning the game quickly.
He also has offers from Arizona State, Florida State, San Jose State and Toledo. He is scheduled to take another unofficial visit to Provo on September 11 when BYU plays Utah.
Today was special! Thank you @kalanifsitake @CoachRoderick @JackDamuni and the rest of the @BYUfootball staff for an amazing unofficial visit. 💙🤍 #GoCougs pic.twitter.com/HE1jLcMRgP

Lincoln (San Diego) receiver Nathan Acevedo picked up offers from Utah State and UNLV this week.
The two schools are the second and third school to offer Acevedo, joining Idaho who offered him in June.
Acevedo transferred to Lincoln from Grossmont, where he had 866 yards and eight touchdowns in just five games. He had a stellar spring season for Grossmont and broke the single-game receiving yard record with 273 yards against Santa Fe Christian.

Villa Park quarterback Nathan Kornely Nathan Kornely 6'1" | 195 lbs | QB Villa Park | 2022 CA got his first offer this week from St. Norberts College.
St. Norberts College is a Division 3 school located in De Pere, Wisconsin. There are three players from California currently on St. Norberts roster.
Kornely helped lead Villa Park to a Crest View League championship this spring and has good zip to his passes. He is one of the better senior quarterbacks in Orange County and seems to be more comfortable each time I see him play. The game is slowing down for him and he is poised for a big senior season this fall.
