St. Xavier continues to impress year in and year out.  The State Champs are poised to make another run this year.  They never rebuild and always reload. <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>2022 Standouts</strong></span> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91531" first="Brogan" last="McCaughey"]</strong> - QB - 6’2 190 - Led his team to the State Title in 2020.  Has 4 offers on the table.  One of the best players in one of Ohio’s toughest conferences. Lower body mechanics are very sound.  Really can put some good spin on the ball and gets it out fast with accuracy.  Really athletic when asked to run the ball.  Can make all the throws with touch from both inside and outside the pocket.  Exciting player to watch. HUDL: <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/11362301/Brogan-McCaughey">https://www.hudl.com/profile/11362301/Brogan-McCaughey</a> <strong>Elijah Kirk</strong> - FS - 6’0 190 - Very talented football player who runs a 4.6 with great quickness.  One of the most technically sound and advanced DB’s in Ohio.  Read steps are patient, backpedal is smooth, transitions into sprints are sharp, and eyes are in the right place.  Competes in a complex defense and is assignment sound.  Attacks the ball in the air and takes it away from receivers.  He is a very good tackler and downhill player. HUDL: <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/11362360/Elijah-Kirk">https://www.hudl.com/profile/11362360/Elijah-Kirk</a> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="34432" first="Cameron" last="Collins"]</strong> - OL - 6’6 305 - On a State Championship team loaded with superstars, Cameron sticks out as one of their best players.  He has college level technique with a nastiness to him you can’t teach.  Great pop and burst off the snap with thumbs up hand placement.  Runs his feet really well through blocks.  Equally adept at run and pass blocking.  He has 6 offers so far and it grows by the week. HUDL: <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/11362320/Cameron-Collins">https://www.hudl.com/profile/11362320/Cameron-Collins</a> <strong>Max Klare</strong> - TE - 6’4 220 - Max is a huge target down the middle of the field.  Had an injury which sidelined him for a majority of the season but will be back with a vengeance this season.  He runs really well and catches the ball out in front of his body.  He can wiggle past or run over DB’s.  Makes all the blocks with technique and physicality.  Excited to see what he does in 2021. HUDL: <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/11362378/Max-Klare">https://www.hudl.com/profile/11362378/Max-Klare</a> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="106898" first="Grant" last="Lyons"]</strong> - OLB - 6’3 225 - Grant is outstanding in all three phases of LB play.  He devastates blockers and escapes easily to make good tackles.  He hits the edge quickly in his pass rush and knocks the hands down well and bends back to the QB.  Covers a lot of ground in his pass drops and closes zones quickly.  Smart football player who has offers from the service academies.  Impressed with his motor and nastiness. HUDL: <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/11362335/Grant-Lyons">https://www.hudl.com/profile/11362335/Grant-Lyons</a> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="34416" first="Brian" last="Parker"]</strong> - OL - 6’5 285 - Brian has multiple big time offers on the table.  He is a nasty player with a mean streak.  He has very advanced technique.  He is flexible in his stance.  Fires low and hard out of the gate with great punch and hand placement.  He has really good lift and gets after the DL and drives them down the field.  His pass blocking is stout with good posture and punch.  DL move back when he delivers a pass blocking blow.  He can make all the blocks and pulls with urgency.  Great on the second level swallowing up LB’s.
